Psalms 92:1-8, James 3:1-12, 17-18
Reflections of the Heart:
The words that the educators of our nation speak into the lives our children lives will either reinforce or conflict with what they receive from their parents. Therefore, let’s pray for those who are speaking into our children; that they will be led and directed by Godly wisdom and discernment.
Eternal Father, we bless You. Thank You, Lord, for the educators in the United States who instruct and guide our children. Thank You for the men and women who are committed to providing quality education for our children in all grade levels; regardless of ethnicity or economic status. We praise Your Name with singing and honor You with thanksgiving. We praise You, Lord God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth! The Godly will rejoice in You, Lord, and find shelter. And those who do what is right will praise You. Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Your justice is like the ocean depths.
Lord of Heaven’s Armies, we command justice to run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream within the educational system of the United States of America. We decree that equality will rule in the educational system of the United States. We declare that our educators, board members and administrators, who confess the Name of Jesus, will trust in You with all of their hearts and not lean to their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all that they do and we trust You to direct their paths as they lead and guide our children. By faith, we decree that when it comes to educating the children of our nation, they will do what is right, just, and fair and they will find the right way to go. Wisdom will enter their heart and knowledge will fill them with joy. Wise choices will watch over them and understanding will keep them safe.
Holy Spirit, please draw the unbelieving educators, board members and administrators of our nation to our Father. Dispatch laborers into their paths who will minister to them the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they will call upon His Name and be saved. Please grant wisdom to our educators and help them to receive Your knowledge and understanding. Lord, grant a treasure of common sense to those who are honest and be a shield to those who walk with integrity. Please improve the lines of communication between educators and the parents. Reveal any deceit, injustice, racism, or sexism. Convict the hearts of those educators who are doing wrong so that they will turn from their wickedness and do what is right. Encourage those who are committed to our children and providing an excellent education.
Today, I will pray for educators in the following state(s):
Merciful Father, forgive those educators who have allowed their personal feelings to affect how they educate our children. Forgive those school board members who have abused their authority to further their own agendas and causes. Forgive those administrators for racism, sexism, lying, cheating, and stealing. Forgive those employees and officials for not being impartial and fair. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind the educators of our nation of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help the educators of our nation not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.
All wise King, You are the First and the Last; there is no other God. There is no one like You. You are our Redeemer and Creator. You alone stretched out the heavens. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
