Scripture Reading:
Psalm 103:1-5, Luke 2:52
Scriptural Prayer:
Mighty Father, we thank You for adopting us into Your holy, royal family. Thank You for having great plans for our lives that are good and not evil. Thank You for blessing us with favor with You, our parents, teachers and friends. You are the Most High God, the only true and living God. You are excellent in all of Your ways. The heavens are Your throne and the earth is Your footstool.
Eternal Father, we confess that we will stand on Your Word and speak Your truth. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path. Lord, it is Your will that we live life abundantly. Therefore, by faith, we confess that we will live by believing and not by seeing as we trust in Your precious promises. Lord, we trust and believe that no good thing will be kept from us as we walk uprightly before You. We declare that favor surrounds us like a shield.
Father, I will do my best to:

Faithful Father, please show us Your ways, teach us Your principles and lead us in Your truth. Lord, as we grow in wisdom and stature; continue to give us favor with You and all people. We ask for Your blessings in our homes, our families and our communities. Bless us during our school activities. Protect us and keep us from hurt and harm. Help each of us to excel in our academics. Lord, fill our hearts with Your joy and direct our steps.
Righteous Father, forgive us for our sins. Forgive us for being disobedient to our parents and teachers. Forgive those students who do not do their homework or turn their class assignments in on time. Father, please forgive me for (list any sin that comes to mind). Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive; and help us to be quick to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord God Almighty, You are holy and righteous. You are great and deserving of praise. As Your Name deserves, You will be praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory! Yours is the Kingdom, glory and the power forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
