Read Scripture of Praise Oh Magnify the Lord

2 Samuel 22:2-4 – Lord, You are my rock, my fortress, and my savior.  My God, You are my rock, in whom I find protection.  You are my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold, my high tower, my savior, the one who saves me from violence.  I will call on You Lord; You are worthy of praise.  You save me from my enemies.

Daniel 2:20 He said, “Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. 21 He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. 22 He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light.

Revelation 4:6 In front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal. In the center and around the throne were four living beings, each covered with eyes, front and back. 7 The first of these living beings was like a lion; the second was like an ox; the third had a human face; and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. 8 Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty– the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.” 9 Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever), 10 the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say, 11 “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

Psalm 145:13-17 – For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. 14 The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. 15 The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it. 16 When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. 17 The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.

18 The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. 19 He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them. 20 The LORD protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked. 21 I will praise the LORD, and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.

Psalm 121 – Psalm 121:1 <A Song of Ascents.> I will lift up my eyes to the hills– From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Psalm 99:1 The LORD is king! Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! 2 The LORD sits in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations. 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! 4 Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. 5 Exalt the LORD our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy!

Isaiah 25:1 (NIV)-  O LORD, You are my God;  I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.   Exodus 23:25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.  Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!

Revelation 15:3 And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations. 4 Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”

Revelation 1:8 – Father, You are Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end.  You are the One who is, who always was, and who is still to come.  You are the Almighty One.  You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power.  You created all things, and the exist because You created what You pleased. – Revelation 4:11

Psalm 144:1-2 – Praise the Lord who is our Rock.  He trains our hands for war and gives our fingers skill for battle.  He is our loving ally and our fortress, our tower of safety, or rescuer.  He is our shield and we take refuge in Him.  He makes the nations submit to us.

Father, we praise you because You created our inner most being; you knitted us together in our mother’s womb.  We praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful and we know this full well.    You are our strength and our shield; our hearts trust in You and You help us.  Our hearts leap for joy and with our song we will praise You.

Leona Ellis – lellis@wvumc.com

I believe what God continues to speak to me is that as Believers our lifeline during this time is 3 fold:

  1. The Bible – Read it, speak it, live it  ( I received this from you during Sunday 7am prayer)
  2. Prayer –  Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and pray that by God’s grace we stay in God’s light (John 3:16-21)
  3. Drink daily 64 oz of water with healthy meals including plenty of vegetables & exercise & rest
  4. Galatians 6:8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone– especially to those in the family of faith.

Ezekiel 22:23-31

  1. Pray for a holy disquiet among white Christians in the church so that they will address injustice against people of color and a holy disquiet among people of color who are Christian to be forgiving, loving and patient. Galatians 3:28-29 – There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
  2. God will remove any unrighteous leaders that will not deal with issues that we are facing in this country. Ezekiel 22:23-29 – Again a message came to me from the LORD: 24 “Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: In the day of my indignation, you will be like a polluted land, a land without rain. 25 Your princes plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They make many widows in the land. 26 Your priests have violated my instructions and defiled my holy things. They make no distinction between what is holy and what is not. And they do not teach my people the difference between what is ceremonially clean and unclean. They disregard my Sabbath days so that I am dishonored among them. 27 Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money! 28 And your prophets cover up for them by announcing false visions and making lying predictions. They say, ‘My message is from the Sovereign LORD,’ when the LORD hasn’t spoken a single word to them. 29 Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice.
  3. God hold the church accountable to live out the command to love of their neighbors. Mark 12:30-31 – And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”
  4. God would shine light and flood the church with his light so that healing waters can flood our nation from one end to the other.  Luke 8:16-17 – “No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. 17 For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all.
  5. Pray that the character of Christ saturates the environment in the United States.  Galatians 3:26 – For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus

God has not moved as quickly as we want and the devil wants to wear down the saints

Faith in the Scripture is not just intellectual assent or determination.  It is a divine persuasion of what He has said.  Faith is the substance and the evidence.  When we pray, God gives us substance (Hupostasis) or a stand that is underneath us.  When we pray the prayer of faith, we are not praying a prayer originated from the mind or feelings, but it is a stand (pedestal, base, platform) under us.  Heb.11:1, faith is the platform and on top of the platform is hope.  Hope is not a wish, but it is a God-given desire plus an expectation based on the Word of God and affirmed by the Spirit of God.  That God-given desire stands upon the pedestal of faith.  Faith is the title deed.  You cannot see, hear or understand with the natural mind.  It is given to us by God that leads to a total trust in God.  Faith is assurance, clarity of what God expects.

It is through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God so that is what is seen was not made by that that is visible.  It is a Christ powered ability that God gives us to get to point A to point B.  This is what enables us to REMAIN until we come out.  We are running a race against the will of the enemy.

Sin – to miss the bulleye of the target that God intended; to violate the character and nature of God.  To behave in a criminal way that opposes the character of God.

God we come to you and ask you to purge our hearts and minds.  Deliver us from freshly expectations and emotionally driven expectations.  Thank you for being in the NOW of our existence.  Thank you that there is nothing hidden from you.  We trust you with our very lives.  According to Dan 7, the enemy is trying to wear out the saints (the War of attrition).  Lord, help us to lay aside the weight and the thing that is slowing us down from remaining steadfast and stay under your guidance.

Deliver us from being flippant, itchy, loose cannons.  We cry for knowledge.  We pray for leaders in the church.  We pray for define awakening. We declare in the heavenlies that the Lord rebuke, you enemy of destruction.  We rebuke the enemy of attrition.  We resist you tonight.  Lift the scales from the eyes of leaders.  We reject the accusations of the enemy and receive the convictions of the Holy Spirit.

We reject the enemies definition of good and evil.  We reject the world’s definition of good and evil.  We accept God’s definition of good and evil.  We will hear and do what the Spirit of the Lord is showing us.

We will stand in a persuasion that does not come from you, rooted in faith.

We reject the voices that come through those we love, but their speakings are based in their weariness and lack of faith.

We worship you and expect your glory.  Daniel 8:25 – His power shall be mighty

He shall be broken without human means: racism, covid.

What the Lord is about to do will boggle the mind.  No matter how the fierce the enemy, he will be broken with human means.  Fierce opposition shall rise

In the war of attrition, if you change the strategy you can be delivered from the attrition.  If we will change and quit accusing God, lying and blaming Him, we can

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Ephesians 2:11-22 – Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called “uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts. 12 In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. 13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. 14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. 15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. 16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death. 17 He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near. 18 Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. 19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. 22 Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.

John Perkins, Tom Skinner and Samuel Hines considered the founding fathers of the evangelical religious movement called reconciliation.  They developed four major steps to achieve racial reconciliation: – Divided by Faith by Christian Smith and Micheal Smith

  1. Develop primary relationships with each other (black and white)
  2. Recognize social structures of inequality and all Christians resist them. I.e. unequal access to quality education and housing.
  3.  Whites repents of their personal, historical and social sins as the main creators and benefactors of a racialized society. African Americans and POC forgive Whites if they ask for forgiveness individually and corporately and AA repent of their anger and whatever hatred they hold toward whites and the system.
  4.

Mark 12:29-31- Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is:`Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 `And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 “And the second, like it, is this:`You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

1 John 4:20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Unity – Read Email – to be in union with each other.  To be together, united

John 17:22-23 – “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. 23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

Malachi 2:10 Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God? Then why do we betray each other, violating the covenant of our ancestors?

Psalm 133:1 <A Song of Ascents. Of David.> Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Romans 12:4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

  1. United as one body of believers with no divisions.  Pray that division are made one.

1 John 4:12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4:3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Romans 12:16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Colossians 3:13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

  1. Pray that the body of Christ is forgiving of one another
  2. Pray  that the Holy Spirit will touch the heart of believers to clothe themselves in God’s love which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

1 Peter 3:8-9 – Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. 9 Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.

Amos 3:3 – The question is asked in Amos 3:3, how can two walk together unless they agree?

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

Scriptures

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.  (Rom 5:1 NLT)

Psalm 89:5-10  All heaven will praise your great wonders, LORD; myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness. 6 For who in all of heaven can compare with the LORD? What mightiest angel is anything like the LORD? 7 The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne. 8 O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O LORD? You are entirely faithful. 9 You rule the oceans. You subdue their storm-tossed waves. 10 You crushed the great sea monster. You scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

SCRIPTURES

Psalm 9:7-10 – But the LORD reigns forever, executing judgment from his throne. 8 He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. 9 The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.

Acts 2:1-5 – When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5

Hebrews 5:7-8 – In the days of His earthly life, Jesus offered up both (specific) petitions and (urgent) supplications (for that which He needed) with fervent crying and tears to the One who was (always) able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission toward God ( His sinlessness and His unfailing determination to do the Father’s will). Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

Psalm 91 – Weslayan Study Bible

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

NLT  1 Peter 2:9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Psalm 46:1 For the choir director: A song of the descendants of Korah, to be sung by soprano voices. God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. 2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. 3 Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude 4 A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. 5 God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it. 6 The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts! 7 The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude 8 Come, see the glorious works of the LORD: See how he brings destruction upon the world. 9 He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; he burns the shields with fire. 10 “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” 11 The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.  (Psa 46:1 NLT)

Exodus 2:23 Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. 24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.

NLT  Exodus 2:23 Years passed, and the king of Egypt died. But the Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. Galatians 6:9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone– especially to those in the family of faith. (Gal 6:9 NLT)

We are going to follow God’s leadership through the Holy Spirit and wait patiently for Him to act.

Make sure to take care of yourselves: get rest and sleep at night when not on call; drink plenty of water; eat properly; condition like an athlete or soldier.

1 Corinthians 15:58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. (1Co 15:58 NLT)

Isaiah 1:19-20 – If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” –

Psalm 84:11-13 – For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. 12 Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Galatians 6:9 – Let us not grow weary in well-being, for in due time we reap a harvest if we do not give up. Personally and Corporately – We will reap what God has promised for our personal lives and the body of Christ will reap a great harvest of souls who will grow and mature in Christ to serve as his disciples.

Blessing – God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work (including the work you are doing through the National Prayer Connection).

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy– meditate on these things.

Read Scriptures over Prayer Warriors about Fear from Kingdom Words to Change Your Life

Be careful what you hear and watch.  The atmosphere is filled with fear, despair, nervousness.  We don’t hear words of faith, victory and hope.

God provided everything in the death, burial and resurrection.  It is by faith that we appropriate the provision of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.  We have received salvation.  We have to continually speak with our mouths what the Word says.

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zep 3:17 NKJ)

Have Cedric to sing.

Unmute and begin to praise God.

Prophetic Word from Pastor Lillie Farrell – Wednesday, March 25, 2020

  1. Enemy is mad at me and Pastor Lillie
  2. God is elevating the foot soldiers to be colonels and generals.
  3. The darker days are coming, but God is going to strategically have the death angel Passover.

Prophetic Words

Hebrews 5:7 – In the days of His earthly life, Jesus offered up both (specific) petitions and (urgent) supplications (for that which He needed ) with fervent crying and tears to the One who was (always) able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submisiion toward God (His sinlessness and His unfailing determination to do the Father’s will).

Pastor Suzette, we received this message via email today from a friend of Jane Costello.

Pastor Suzette – On last night’s prayer call (4/1), I had a vision when Pastor from Florida spoke about the 4 major states that are hit hardest with this virus – New York, Washington, California, and Florida – “those are the 4 outermost corners of the United States, and I felt led to pray the virus OUT of those 4 corners – that God would blow it out as far as east is from west – and then pray IN the blood of Jesus to fill the United States from border to border, as well as a reminder of Revelation 7:1 …” you had asked that we post this on Facebook, but I don’t have any social media.  We are Prayer Partners with Jane Costello on Monday nights at FPC.

Blessings…

Pam Harada.
