A Prayer of Honor to God (Father), Jesus Christ (Savior) and Holy Spirit (Sustainer)

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 19, Joel 2:28-32

Reflections of the Heart:

Our God is an awesome God.  He is kind, tenderhearted, and merciful.  Our Father loves us with an everlasting love and He is always concerned about our welfare.  He provides all that we need through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  God should always be revered and adored.  He should have our utmost respect.  Today, bless the Lord by giving praise and worship to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You are the Creator of the Universe; by Your Word, You framed the world. Your Word declares Your Glory. You are the only wise God who now speaks to us individually by Your Holy Spirit. Lord, You set the boundaries for the ocean, the filtration system from the trees and the tear duct to moisten our eyes. You are an awesome God. Your promises are still in effect. The seasons continue to change and the rainbow still adorns the sky. You loved us before the foundation of the world was created. Thank You for redeeming and reconciling us back to You, through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to sustain us on earth. Triune Father, we honor You and thank You for Your wonderful plan of salvation.

Father, we stand in awe and amazement of You. We join in with the heavenly hosts and cry out holy, holy, holy are You, the Lord God, the Almighty; the One who always was, who is and who is still to come. As the deer longs for streams of water, we Your children long for You. We proclaim that You are our God and we earnestly search for You. We have seen You in Your sanctuary and have gazed upon Your power and glory. We will praise You as long as we live. We confess that we will keep Your statutes and teach them to our children all the days of their lives. As we do this, we expect to have long life. We confess that we will keep Your commandments, walk in Your ways and honor You. Lord Jesus, we thank You for being our Advocate who pleads our case before the Father. Thank You for being the sacrifice that atones for our sins and the sins of the whole world. We say that we will show our love for You by keeping Your commandments. We will imitate You by living lives that are filled with love. Holy Spirit, we welcome You into our public and private lives. We rejoice in the knowledge that You are the seal of our salvation! Empower us and work within us we will do the Father’s good will and pleasure. We acknowledge that it is You, Holy Spirit, who sanctifies us and makes us holy through our belief in the truth.

Think about how your life has changed since you said “yes” to God. Write down some of those changes and begin to praise God for the transformations that He is making in your life:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Father, please let Your ears be attentive to our prayer for we desire to honor Your Name. Touch the hearts of those who do not fear You and cause them to love You with all their hearts, souls, and strength. Remove their stony hearts and give them new hearts that are submissive to You. Holy Spirit, cause us to hunger and thirst for Your righteousness so that we will be filled. Teach us how to revere Your Holy Name in true holiness. Fill us with comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of the Father’s will so that we may conduct our lives in a manner worthy of Christ. Help us to walk in the spirit of humility and to think more of others than we do ourselves.

Father, forgive us for acts of sinfulness such as: pride, rebellion, disobedience, selfishness, hatred, stealing, lying, sexual immorality, and idolatry. Forgive those persons for worshipping You half-heartedly. Forgive people who know You, as Savior, and have a form of godliness, but deny Your power. Forgive those parents for not teaching their children to honor and fear You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Blessed are You, the only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords. You alone have immortality and dwell in the light, which no man can approach. To You, O God, belongs honor and power everlasting. To Jesus, who was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the Holy Spirit; seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up in glory. To You, Jesus, the one whose Name is above every name, we bless You. Holy Spirit, we exalt You as the One who comforts, teaches, guides and empowers. You are righteous in all Your ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Feast of Tabernacles

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 150, Deuteronomy 16:13-17

Reflections of the Heart:

“Let us come to him with thanksgiving.  Let us sing psalms of praise to him.  For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.”    Psalm 95:2-3

Scriptural Prayer:

Abba Father, we thank You for calling us to worship You and bring You gifts during the Feast of Tabernacles. Thank You, Jesus, for teaching us God’s Word as You taught the Israelites at the Temple in Jerusalem during the Festival of Tabernacles. Holy Spirit, we thank You for bringing God’s Word to our remembrance which tells us to celebrate this special Feast each year from generation to generation. O God, You are our God; we earnestly search for You. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how we praise You! We will praise You as long as we live, lifting up our hands to You in prayer. You satisfy us more than the richest feast. We will praise You with songs of joy.

Glorious Father, the Feast of Tabernacles belongs to You, and we will all appear before You, O Lord our God, at the place You choose. We commit to appearing before You with special gifts. Lord, we will come before You joyfully declaring that this festival will be a happy time of celebrating with our sons and daughters, pastors, neighbors, orphans and widows from our towns. For seven days, we will celebrate this festival to honor You, Lord, at the place You choose, for You have blessed us with bountiful harvests and have given us success in all our work. We decree that this festival will be a time of great joy for all. While we remember that You brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and had them live in temporary shelters, we will remember that Jesus Christ has become our permanent shelter. We anticipate Your glory “tabernacling” among us during this exciting feast. We are expecting your presence, anointing, healing, power, joy, peace, and love.

I am blessed of God and so thankful to Him for the following things in my life:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Heavenly Father, we pray for Your provision of both the time and the resources to celebrate this festival in a way that will be pleasing to You. Grant us favor with our employers during the festival. Holy Spirit, bring to our minds the special gifts we should bring to the Lord on each of the seven days of the festival. Help us to be grateful for God’s bountiful provision of all that we need so we may be generous in our giving. As we build our shelters (tents), help us to share with our families, so that everyone understands that each shelter, regardless of its size or placement, is built in remembrance of God’s blessings in our lives.

Holy Father, when You brought Your people out of Egypt, they refused to obey and did not remember the miracles You had done for them. Instead, they became stubborn and appointed a leader to take them back to their slavery in Egypt! But You are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love. You did not abandon them. In Your mercy, Father, forgive those of us for being slow or reluctant to be grateful for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. Forgive those who are disobedient to Your Word and fail to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with joy and gratitude. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive; and we will be quick to forgive.

Lord, You are King! Let the nations tremble! You sit on Your throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! You sit in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations. Let them praise Your great and awesome Name. Your Name is holy! Mighty King, lover of justice, You have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. We exalt You, Lord our God! We bow low before Your feet, for You are holy! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

A Prayer of Preparation for the Day of Atonement

Scripture Reading:

I Samuel 2:1-2, Psalm 32

Reflections of the Heart:

Jesus paid the price and bore our sins, so that we could experience at-one-ment with God.  No more shame, guilt or defilement.  So be assured that as we take spiritual inventory, confess and repent, as we fast, humble ourselves, and express sorrow, expect that all disgrace, contamination, and uncleanness will be destroyed.  We will be restored to full fellowship with our heavenly Father. Hallel YAH!

Scriptural Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, we thank You for increasing Your presence, power, anointing, and abundance in our lives during the High Holy Days.  We are so thankful for the freedom to worship You, our God, and for the forgiveness of sin.  Thank You, Lord, for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the sacrificial lamb and High Priest who atones for our sins.  It is because of Him, we can say, “Abba Father,” and for this we are grateful.   Thank You for this special time of refreshing, repentance, and restoration.  Father, we honor Your Name.  No pagan god is like You, O Lord; none can do what You do! All the nations You made will come and bow before You, Lord; they will praise Your holy Name.  You are great, and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.

Holy Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives as we prepare for the Day of Atonement. We confess that all have sinned and fallen short of Your glorious standard.  But, You, in Your gracious kindness declare us not guilty. You have done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. You sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy Your anger against us. We are made right with You when we believe that Jesus shed His blood, sacrificing His life for us.  Lord, we are expecting You to hear us, forgive our sins, and heal our land because as Your people who are called by Your Name, we humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways.  We will strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress.  We run with endurance the race that You have set before us. We come with the expectation that all guilt, shame, regret, disgrace, defilement, and dishonor will be eradicated from our lives because we know that when we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Holy Spirit, I thank You for the following changes in my heart:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, continue to search our hearts and know our thoughts. Point out anything in us that offends You and lead us along the path of everlasting life. Holy Spirit, help us to admit our sin and guilt and to come into agreement with the Father about our sin.  Bring to our remembrance any past sins which we may have buried deep down because the thought of them may have been too painful.  Help us to deal with and process any secret sins which we do not want others to know about.  Holy Spirit, lead us to and help us receive God’s forgiveness and restoration. Help us to accept and fully understand God’s love for us and not get stuck in regret and condemnation. Assist us in repentance by helping us to turn away, walk away, stay away, and to never look back.

Forgiving Father, forgive us for all acts of sin and ungodliness. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).   Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, You are Holy.  You are the blessed and only Almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords.  You alone can never die, and You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You.  No one has ever seen You, nor ever will.  To You be honor and power forever, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for the Day of Atonement

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 135, Hebrews 10:1-23

Reflections of the Heart:

Sin cuts us off from God.  It cuts us off from His presence and creates in us fear, guilt, pain, suffering, and even death.  To restore fellowship with God, we must confess and repent of our sin so that it is removed.  This is what atonement, through the blood of Jesus, does.  Because Jesus paid the price and bore our sins, we can experience at-one-ment with God.  No more shame, guilt or defilement.  So, on this special day, take spiritual inventory, confess and repent, as we fast, humble ourselves, and express sorrow, and expect all disgrace, contamination, and uncleanness to be gone.  We will be restored to full fellowship with our heavenly Father. Hallel YAH!

Scriptural Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, we honor Your Name. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the sacrificial lamb and High Priest who atones for our sins.  It is because of Him, we can say, “Abba Father,” and for this we are grateful.   Thank You for this special time of refreshing, repentance, and restoration.  Thank You for taking the legalism, ritualism, and religiosity out of this day by making it about restoring, reestablishing, and strengthening our relationship with You and others. We are so appreciative that You desire, that we, Your children, experience Your atonement every year.  No pagan god is like You, O Lord; none can do what You do! All the nations You made will come and bow before You, Lord; they will praise Your holy Name.  You are great, and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.  Where is another God like You, who pardons the guilt of the remnant and overlooks the sins of Your special people? You will not stay angry with Your people forever, because You delight in showing unfailing love.  Once again You will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under Your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! For this we are thankful.

Glorious Father, as a Church Family, we acknowledge that we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glorious standard.  But, You, in Your gracious kindness have declared us not guilty because of the sacrifice of our Lord, Christ Jesus.  Lord, we are expecting You to hear us, forgive our sins, and heal our land because we, are Your people who are called by Your Name, who humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways.  We declare that we will strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress.  We will continue to run with endurance the race that You have set before us. We come with the expectation that all guilt, shame, regret, disgrace, defilement, and dishonor will be eradicated from our lives because we know that when we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Hallel YAH!

Loving Father, search our hearts and know our thoughts. Point out anything in us that offends You and lead us along the path of everlasting life. Holy Spirit, help us to admit our sin and guilt and to come into agreement with the Father about our sin.  Bring to our remembrance any past sins which we may have buried deep down because the thought of them may be too painful.

Begin to list, confess, and repent of all your sins and mistakes.  Let the Holy Spirit help you empty yourself.  He will guard your heart and emotions as you pour yourself out before the Lord.  If you feel like crying, then cry.  If you feel like screaming, then scream.  Let the Lord work on you inwardly.  Do not be afraid.  God is with you and He will lead you through this time of repentance.

After you have confessed and repented from each sin, thank God for forgiveness and His cleansing power.  Write in bold letters, across the list, F-O-R-G-I-V-E-N.

Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. A Feast of Trumpets Prayer

Scripture Reading:

Jeremiah 16:19-21, Colossians 1:15-23

Reflections of the Heart:

The Feast of Trumpets initiates the beginning of the Father’s Cycle of Redemption with a “wake up call” to all His children. In ancient times, this was done with the loud blowing of the shofar. But now, it is done through the Holy Spirit’s prompting inside us to look within and examine our ways. Let’s thank God for the opportunity to release our sins and start fresh!

Scriptural Prayer:

Holy Father, we thank You for bringing us through the journey of the past year. We thank You for giving us a hope and a future. Thank You for redeeming our souls through the Blood of Jesus. Thank You for new beginnings and Your redemptive power at work in us through the Holy Spirit.  Together, as a Church Family, we rejoice in the celebration of the Feast of Trumpets. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May Your glory shine over all the earth. Our hearts are confident in You, Father. No wonder we can sing Your praises! We will thank You, Lord, among all the people. We will sing Your praises among the nations, for Your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

Majestic Father, we are grateful to enter into this season humbly and soberly.  We understand that only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols, and who never tell lies, can stand in Your holy presence.  We thank You for making us holy, blameless, and above reproach through Jesus Christ.  It is through His blood; our hearts are made pure and our hands are made clean. Therefore, we decree that our Church Family stands together in deep appreciation for the gift of Your grace.  We know that our righteousness was not secured by the good things we’ve done.  We cannot boast or take any credit, Jesus, You are the source of our redemption.  We will use this time during this season to examine ourselves to see if our faith is genuine.  As part of the Feast of Trumpets, You have directed us to reconcile with persons who may have wronged us during the past year. We commit to mending our relationships. Father, You have begun a good work in us and we are confident that You will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

As I review the past year (Sept. 2019 – Sept. 2020), I am thankful for:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Father, this year I commit to reconcile with (List the names of those who may have wronged you):

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, lead those within our Church Family who still do not celebrate the feasts into a deeper revelation of the blessing in obeying the Father’s commandments.  Remind us all of the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness to us and to our families throughout the past year. While we observe the Feast of Trumpets, alert us to anything that may be keeping us from experiencing true intimacy with You. Teach us to search for the Lord and for His strength; to continually seek Him.  Help us to remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given.  Give us a strong conviction about the kind of example we are setting for our children as we begin the new year.

Our Father, forgive us, as a Church Family, for our past sins. Forgive us for offering sacrifices, rather than obedience. Forgive those who continue to hold onto grudges and past offenses by refusing to reconcile and move on with their lives. Please forgive the Body of Christ for rejecting Your Feasts during the early centuries of the Christian faith. Forgive us for not acknowledging You in all our ways and for leaning to our own understanding. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. We will not take past offenses into the new year. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person (s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Sovereign Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise! You are to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but You made the heavens. Honor and majesty surround You. Strength and joy fill Your dwelling. Let the whole world fear You and let everyone stand in awe of You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Salvation

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 105:1-8, John 3

Reflections of the Heart:

God always desired a relationship with humankind. He still does. His heart longs to father the lost and rejected in this world. So while there is still time, those who are unsaved can still make a decision to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and forever be free from the grip of sin and guilt.

Scriptural Prayer:

Glorious Father, we thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for showing us just how great Your love is by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Lord God, we thank You for the precious gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Your majestic Name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens! We will praise Your Name forever and ever, for You have all wisdom and power. We put our hope in You, Lord. You are our help and our shield. Our hearts rejoice in You, for we trust in Your holy Name. Father, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal! If we tried to recite all Your wonderful deeds we would never come to the end of them.

Triumphant Father, we commit to sharing the Gospel with our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies. We will fulfill The Great Commission by going into all the world and preaching the Good News to everyone, without prejudice. We confess that as Your Word is preached throughout the world it will convict the hearts of the unsaved. As the Body of Christ, we are not ashamed to tell the Good News about Jesus Christ, for we know that it is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes. We declare that as people confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. When they receive Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will see themselves as Your masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus so that they can do the good things You predestined for them to do. They will learn to love You with all their heart and soul so that they may truly live. Lord, we decree that those who are set free by the Son of God will know that they are truly free indeed!

List the people that you know who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Ask the Holy Spirit for the wisdom to witness to these people. Trust Him to give you the courage to approach them and the words to say to them.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Merciful Father, we cry out to You to clear the way so that Your Gospel may be preached in every city, state, nation, and continent. There is much to be done to gather a great harvest of souls in our generation. Please send laborers to proclaim the Good News to the unsaved in every nation and every tongue. Strengthen missionaries around the world to proclaim Christ and do good works. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to remove the scales from the eyes of those who are blind and cannot see The Father’s goodness and faithfulness toward them. Lord God, we ask You to circumcise the hearts of those who are backslidden. Lead them back to the path of righteousness. Remind them of the huge crowd of witnesses that surround them and strengthen them to strip off every weight that slows them down, especially the sin that so easily trips them up. Please give them the endurance to continue the race You have set before them. We ask that You help them to keep their eyes focused on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects their faith.

Precious Father, forgive the unsaved for not acknowledging You or Your Son. Forgive them for rejecting Your love and forgiveness. Forgive them for living in ruthless rebellion and ignorance of the Truth. Please have mercy on their souls and extend Your grace toward them. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for shrinking back and neglecting to share the Good News with more people. Forgive us for being constrained by fear instead of being motivated by faith. Forgive us for gossiping, backbiting, and slandering our backslidden brothers and sisters when we should have been helping them come back to Jesus. Lord, forgive me for (list the sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us all from the evil one.

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides You. There is no Rock like You, our God. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. You are awesome in Your sanctuary. You are the God of Israel, who gives power and strength to His people. Praise be to You, O God! May Your glory shine over all the earth. Holy, holy, holy are You, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with Your glory! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Our Pastors and Their Families

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 47, Psalm 128

Reflections of the Heart:

Our Pastors carry an incredible weight that many of us will never truly understand. They need our prayers, our commitment, and our support. So don’t forget to pray for our Pastors and their families during your prayer time.

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the men and women You have appointed as our Pastors. Thank You for blessing our Church Family with their leadership and wisdom. Thank You for leading, directing, and protecting their families. Lord, You are our Good Shepherd, our High Priest. You are a great God and a great King above all gods. You hold in Your hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to You, for You made it. Your hands formed the dry land, too. Today, we bow down and worship You. We kneel before You and acknowledge You as our maker. You are our God and we are the people that You watch over and have taken under Your care.

Almighty Father, Your Word says that those who fear You and delight in obeying Your commands will be joyful. You promised that their children will be successful everywhere. We declare that the descendants of our Pastors are mighty on earth and blessed because they are the generation of Godly people. We confess that our Pastors will be wealthy and their good deeds will last forever. We decree that their peace is great and their composure is undisturbed. We declare that our Pastors’ families will experience the Kingdom of God here on earth; people will see their good works and glorify You, our Father in Heaven. Our Pastors obey Your commands, therefore, their families will be blessed in the city and in the fields. They will be blessed when they come in and when they go out. Lord, we expect that You will cause their enemies who rise against them one way to be defeated and flee seven ways. Lord, it is our expectation that You will command Your blessing upon their storehouses and in all that they set their hands to do and You will bless them in the land.

Holy Spirit, how can we pray specifically for our Pastors and their families:

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Faithful Father, we joyfully lift up the families of our Pastors. Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill their homes with Your gentleness, peace, joy, and Godly order. We lift up their marriages and we ask You to bless them psychologically, emotionally and sexually. Bless their children to mature academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Lord, strengthen and encourage those families who feel overwhelmed by the ministry. Lord, we ask that You protect our Pastors and their families from the onslaughts of the devil and the disrespect of people. Please help them to maintain balance in their public and private lives.

Merciful Father, forgive us for not being steadfast in praying for our Pastors and their families. Forgive those in our Church Family for speaking ill against our Pastors and rebelling against their teachings. Forgive those who gossip, murmur, complain, and whine. Please forgive our Pastors and their families for any acts of sinfulness including: anger, wrath, envy, jealousy, or dissension. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our Pastors and their families to forgive each other and other people, and please help them to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help our Pastors and their families not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one. O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, may You be praised forever and ever! Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours. This is Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Jesus Christ, Our Resurrected Savior

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 138:1-6, John 4:1-24

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being such a loving God. We thank You, Lord Jesus, for sacrificing Your life for us. Thank You for being mindful of us and becoming our Savior, Deliverer and Liberator. Lord, we will praise You at all times, we will constantly speak Your praises. We will boast only in You. We give thanks to You with our whole hearts; we will sing Your praises before the gods. We bow before Your holy temple and praise You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness; for Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your Name.

Lord Jesus, thank You for making us right in God’s sight through Your resurrection and ascension. Because of You, we have peace with God. Through our faith in You we have been brought into a plan of undeserved privilege and we can confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Hallel YAH! Lord, when we were utterly helpless, You came to earth at just the right time and died for us sinners. We realize that most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But, God showed His great love for us by sending You to die for us while we were still sinners. We declare that since we have been made right in God’s sight by Your blood, we are saved from God’s condemnation. It is because of Your death, our friendship with God has been restored. Today, we rejoice in our wonderful relationship with God, Abba Father, because You have made us heirs. Thank You for becoming our sacrifice. Thank You for enduring pain, shame, and humiliation for our righteousness. Because of You, we are God’s righteousness. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

List three things that you are grateful to Jesus for:

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, help us to always remember that Jesus is our big Brother. Help us to love and appreciate Him, along with You and our Father, God. Please lead and guide our daily living so that we present the goodness of Christ to our families, friends, co-workers and enemies. Most of all, Holy Spirit, please heal and grow our natural and spiritual self-esteem so that we can be all that You have created us to be.

Faithful Father, forgive us for devaluing the sacrifice Christ made for our freedom. Forgive us for taking communion with little regard to its meaning. Forgive us for all acts of sin, including stubbornness, arrogance, selfishness, ungratefulness, pride and rebellion. Forgive us for making a mockery of Jesus’ resurrection and ascension by returning to old bondages and enslaved mentalities. Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

God, You are mighty and strong. You are God above all gods. You are Jehovah, God! King above all kings! Jesus, You are the Worthy Lamb slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing. Blessing, honor, glory and power belong to You, the One sitting on the throne. You, the Lamb forever and ever. In Your Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for The Holy Spirit

Scripture Reading:Psalm 16:1-11, John 16:1-15

Reflections of the Heart:

Jesus said, “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is The Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you.” John 14:15-17

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for saving us through the sacrifice of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide, teach and comfort us. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering us to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ and being God’s guarantee for the inheritance He promised. Because of You, this guarantee includes that we have been purchased to be His own people. Hallel YAH! Father God, we praise You, our Savior. Each day You carry us in Your arms. You are the God who saves, the Sovereign Lord who rescues us from death. We will sing to You, the One who rides across the ancient heavens; Your mighty voice thunders from the sky. We will tell everyone about Your power. Your majesty shines down on Israel; Your strength is mighty in the heavens. You are awesome in Your sanctuary!

Mighty God, we have not received a spirit that makes us fearful slaves; instead, we have received Your Spirit when You adopted us as Your children. We confess that the same Holy Spirit who resurrected Jesus from the dead now dwells within us. It is the Holy Spirit who gives life to our mortal bodies, just as He gave life to Christ and raised Him from the dead. We decree that You, Holy Spirit, are our Comforter and our Helper. You are Holy. We depend on You to remind us of everything Jesus taught while He lived on the earth. You are God’s power source, and You are the Teacher of all truth. We thank You for being God’s Representative in the earth, the One through whom God relates to all believers, the Producer of the Fruit of the Spirit and our Advocate. We love You, Holy Spirit, and thank You for working through us to perform miracles, signs and wonders so that people will experience the Kingdom of God. We confess that we will not be filled with wine, but we will be filled with the Holy Spirit; singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among ourselves and making music to the Lord in our hearts.

Holy Spirit, what are the areas in my life that I need to surrender to You? List them

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, continue to lead and guide our lives. As we study God’s Word, reveal the Kingdom of God to us and within us and help us to share the Kingdom in this dark world. Show us those areas in our personal lives that we need to get in order so that we will not bring You sorrow by the way we live. Help us to get rid of all bitterness, unforgiveness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, show us how to be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven us through Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, forgive those who deny the existence or power of the Holy Spirit. Forgive those who have discouraged others from embracing the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Forgive us for not completely yielding control of our lives to the Holy Spirit. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Almighty God, the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it all belong to You. You are the God of gods and Lord of lords. You are the great God, the mighty and awesome God who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed. You alone are worthy of praise because You alone perform such great miracles. In the majestic Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen!

A Prayer of Thanksgiving for Salvation

Scripture Reading:Psalm 99, John 3:1-21

Reflections of the Heart:

“The Blood of Jesus washes away our past and the Name of Jesus opens up our future.” Pastor Jessie Duplantis

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your tender mercies and unfailing love. Thank You for providing a way for sinners to be reconciled back to You. Thank You for enlightening our hearts to say “yes” to You when You called us. Lord, You are very great and Your power is absolute. Your understanding is beyond comprehension. We come clapping our hands and shouting joyful praises to You, our God. Most High, You are awesome. You are the great King of all the earth. We meditate on Your unfailing love as we worship in Your temple. Your Name will be praised to the ends of the earth. We honor You as our Lord and Savior.

Our Father, it is Your desire that all people be saved and understand the truth. We are grateful that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the only gate by which people are saved. Therefore, we commit to sharing the Gospel with our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies. We will not be afraid or intimidated, but we will share the Good News of Jesus Christ with boldness, confidence and love. We are thankful that when our unsaved family members, friends, co-workers and enemies confess with their mouths, the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, they will be saved. Father, we declare that they will know the truth, and the truth will set them free. As the Body of Christ, we gladly take the great commission and go into the world preaching the Good News to everyone You place in our paths. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because we know that it is Your power that is at work, saving everyone who believes.

List the names of people you have witnessed to about Jesus Christ:

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Gracious Father, we cry out to You to clear the way so that Your Gospel may be preached in every city, state, country, and continent. Since the harvest is plentiful, continue to send laborers to proclaim Your Word of salvation to the unsaved. We ask You to remove the scales that keep them from seeing Your goodness and faithfulness. Surround them with the counsel of the Godly so that they may be washed in the water of Your Word; stripped of the old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds, and put on their new nature so that they will be renewed as they learn to know their Creator and become like Him. Holy Spirit, we ask You to circumcise the hearts of those who are in a backslidden state. Like the prodigal child, help them to come to themselves and return to You, their first love. Remind them that nothing can ever separate them from God’s love; not death, life, angels, demons, fears for today or worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate them from the Father’s love. Help us, the Body of Christ, to present the Gospel with compassion, hope and patience.

Forgiving Father, forgive us for all acts of sin, including disobedience, hatred, rebellion and idolatry. Forgive those who have rejected Your Gospel. Please have mercy upon them and extend Your grace toward them. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for not sharing Jesus and the Gospel with more people. Forgive us for being timid and reserved about sharing the Gospel. Forgive us for not reaching out to those who we know are in a backslidden state. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them to you, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to You, the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
