A Prayer for Healing and Deliverance

Scripture Reading:

Hebrews 1:8-12, Matthew 15:22-28

Reflections of the Heart:

The Lord knows how to rescue Godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. II Peter 2:9

Scriptural Prayer:

Abba Father, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious Name. We thank You for saving us through the meritorious works of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We thank You that through Jesus’ sacrifice, the devil has been defeated and we have been given victory.  We thank You for the Holy Spirit who is greater than any spirit who lives in this world. You are our strength and our song. You have given us victory. You are our God and we praise and exalt You. You alone are our God, the only One who is worthy of our praise, the One who does mighty miracles that we have witnessed with our own eyes. For You, Lord, have rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of Your dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

Father God, we confess that those of us who are weary and who carry heavy burdens will come to You and find rest. We will take Your yoke and allow You to teach us so that we may find rest for our souls.  As we come to You, crying out for mercy, we trust that You will answer us because of Your unfailing love and Your great compassion will blot out the stain of our sins.  We will be washed from our guilt and purified from our sins.  Lord, we will acknowledge our rebellion and that it is against You and You alone that we have sinned.  As we humble ourselves before You, Lord, resist the devil; he will flee from us.  We come close to You, Father so that You will come close to us.  We wash our hands and purify our hearts so our loyalty will no longer be divided between You and the world.  We will no longer allow sin to control the way we live or give in to sinful desires.  We give ourselves completely to You, God, for we were once dead to sin, but now because of Jesus Christ, we have new life.

Merciful Father, create in all of us clean hearts and renew loyal spirits in each of us.  Remind us to hate evil and love what is good.  Holy Spirit, remind those of us who are in bondage that the Lord’s arm is not too weak to save us, nor is His ear too deaf to hear us when we call to Him.  Circumcise our hearts and remove the scales from our eyes so that when we cry out to the Father for deliverance, we will expect Him to hear and to answer.  Help us to identify action steps to help us to separate from people, places and situations that would attempt to pull us back into bondage. Surround us with Godly friends who will hold us accountable to walking uprightly before the Father. Remind us that nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from God’s love that has been revealed through our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance areas in my life that have me and my family in bondage.  Show me those areas in which I am influencing others to violate God’s commandments, so that I might earnestly pray for deliverance:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Merciful Father, we admit that we are sometimes a stubborn and rebellious people, but please forgive our iniquity and our sins. Forgive those of us who have trusted and depended on anyone or anything other than You.  Forgive those of us who have become hopeless due to our bondage, and help us to find hope again.  As Your children, forgive us for not forgiving the people who introduced behavior that later ensnared us.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

As Your Name deserves, O God, You will be praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory. You are awesome in Your sanctuary. God of Israel, You give power and strength to Your people. Praise be our God! In the Name of Your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen!

A Prayer for Health Professionals

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 136, Mark 16:15-20

Reflections of the Heart:

“To array a man’s will against his sickness is the supreme art of medicine.”

~ Martin H. Fischer, German-American Physician and Author

Scriptural Prayer:

Divine Father, thank You for showing us the wonders of Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing our cry for mercy and answering our call for help. Thank You for all those in the Body of Christ who serve in the health profession. We thank You for doctors, nurses, researchers, scientists, hospital administrators, therapists, pharmacists, medical assistants, paramedics, and medical technicians with discernment, understanding, knowledge, and courage. What a blessing they are to all of us! By Your wisdom, You have strategically equipped and anointed men and women with expertise in medicine, science, nutrition, pharmacy, surgery, rehabilitation, and counseling. Lord, You made the heavens Your throne; You rule over everything from there. Your angels praise You, Lord. Your mighty ones who carry out Your plans, listen for each of Your commands. Lord, everything that You created will praise You; everything in Your Kingdom! Let all that we are praise You!

All-Wise Father, we decree that just as the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, feared and obeyed You, our healthcare professionals will not succumb to the pressure to compromise; but they remain committed to their oath to “do no harm.” We believe that You are working wonders in the healthcare profession right now. We confess that our healthcare professionals believe in the promises of Your Word, and as they ask You, You will tell them remarkable secrets about things to come in their profession. They will be pioneers in discovering cures and medical breakthroughs for our generation. We decree that all health professionals will seek Your wisdom and knowledge and always pursue excellence in their chosen fields. They are dedicated to the proper care and treatment of all their patients and they will remember to show their patients mercy, just as You have shown mercy to them.

Now, ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of the names of those you know in the healthcare field and pray for their specific needs:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, remind our health professionals not to trust in human wisdom; but in the power of God. Please comfort the hearts of those who have recently lost a patient who was under their care. Help them to heal from the emotional wounds that come along with their jobs. Give them the boldness they need to stand up for their patients’ rights and to contribute significantly to the pursuit of healthcare reform in our country. Remind our healthcare professionals that they represent the Kingdom of God in the healthcare industry, so their demeanor and behavior should reflect Kingdom principles. Please continue to bless the covenant partnerships between the community and local hospitals. May we continue to work together to bring the best healthcare to more underserved communities.

Beloved Father, forgive those among our healthcare professionals who have been prideful and arrogant, taking Your glory for themselves. Forgive those who have been more concerned with financial gain than being a servant. Forgive those who have neglected to do their jobs in excellence and who have placed the lives of others in jeopardy by cutting corners and taking shortcuts. Forgive those who have failed to show compassion while working with the loved ones of their patients. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our healthcare professionals of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help our healthcare professionals not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Lord of Glory, You alone are God. You are the First and the Last. It was Your hand that laid the foundations of the earth. Your right hand spread out the heavens above. When You call out the stars, they all appear in order. You alone can never die and You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. All honor and power is Yours forever, Lord! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Healing for Persons Diagnosed with Cancer

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 42, Isaiah 53:4-5

Reflections of the Heart:

Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever! In Mark 16:17-18 (NLT), Jesus said, “These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.” Therefore, as believers, let us do what Jesus did!

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for watching over those persons who have been diagnosed with cancer. Thank You for Your healing power. Thank You, Lord, for declaring us overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. Lord, we proclaim Your righteousness and praise all the day long. Your faithful love endures forever and Your mercies never cease. Great is Your faithfulness. Who can compare to You? We exalt Your Holy and Righteous Name. You are the Holy One of Israel who sent Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to redeem all humankind from the curse of the law of sin and death.

Awesome Father, Your thoughts towards us are of peace and not evil, to give us a future and a hope. We believe that it is Your will that we live free from all diseases. Lord, by the authority given to us, we declare that the infirmity of cancer with its many forms and common types – bladder, breast, colon and rectal, endometrial, leukemia, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, prostate, skin, thyroid and other types are destroyed, in Jesus’ Name. We command the primary abnormally deformed cell to die at its root and the metastasizing cells to cease from spreading throughout the body, especially to the lungs, bones, liver, brain and lymphatic system. We command the increased production of healthy cells to destroy renegade cells. Lord, we declare that our members who have been diagnosed with cancer will not die; but live to tell what You have done. Lord, as a king of the King and a lord of the Lord, I command the Kingdom domain of healing to manifest in the body of (name the person(s) who need healing from cancer). I declare that supernatural healing is flowing throughout his/her body, in Jesus Name.

List the names of persons who are battling with cancer. Now, declare this word over their lives today and encourage them to trust the Lord. Give them a copy of the healing Scriptures and encourage them to pray them. Healing Scriptures can be downloaded from www.prayerinstitute.com. Go to the prayer link.

Holy Spirit, please reveal the cure for cancer. We ask You to increase the wisdom and knowledge of medical researchers as they perform cancer studies. We ask You to strengthen those persons who are being treated for cancer. Increase their endurance and patience as they undergo x-rays, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, biological therapy, hormone therapy, surgery, cryosurgery and other procedures. Holy Spirit, comfort and strengthen their family members. Help their family members to walk in love, peace, patience and faith. Please protect those who have not been touched by cancer. Destroy any triggers that would create cancerous cells in our bodies. Lord, help us to break poor eating and sleeping habits. Remind us to exercise, eat healthy and get enough sleep. Touch our society to promote healthy lifestyle practices.

Loving Father, we ask You to forgive the sins of those diagnosed with cancer. Forgive us all for unhealthy lifestyles and habits. Forgive us for not being good stewards of neither our bodies nor our children’s. Forgive us for holding grudges, unforgiveness, resentment, and embedded anger. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those who have been diagnosed with cancer to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help all of us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Triumphant Lord, You are our Redeemer. You are the Lord who makes all things. You stretched out the heavens all alone and You spread abroad the earth. Lord, forever Your Word is settled in heaven. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer of Healing During Cold and Flu Season

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 96, Isaiah 53:4-5

Reflections of the Heart:

Although the world has declared that this is the cold and flu season, as children of the Most High God, our expectation is to walk in health and wholeness!

Scriptural Prayer:

Righteous Father, we thank You for being Jehovah Rapha, the Lord God who heals. Thank You for keeping our bodies healthy. Thank You for strengthening our immune systems and helping us to ward off infections and viruses. We sing praises to You and Your Name. We will sing loud praises to You, the One who rides the clouds. Your Name is the Lord, we rejoice in Your presence. We praise You Lord, our Savior. Each day You carry us in Your arms. Sovereign God, You save us and rescue us from death. Lord, we are like olive trees, thriving in Your house. We will always trust in Your unfailing love. We will praise You forever for what You have done for us. We will trust in Your Name in the presence of Your faithful people.

Eternal Father, it is Your will that all will be well with us and that we are as healthy in our bodies as we are strong in our spirits. As we make You, our refuge and our shelter, no evil will conquer us, nor will any plague come near our homes. According to Your Word, when we call on You, You will answer us; You will be with us in trouble and will rescue and honor us. With long life You will satisfy us, and show us Your salvation. Father, we expect this Word to operate in our lives during the cold and flu season. We declare that our immune systems are healthy and strong. We confess that we will do the practical things in the natural to protect ourselves including eating properly, getting the proper amount of rest and drinking plenty of water. We declare that we will take our vitamins and exercise so that our immune systems will not be compromised. We will wash our hands and teach our children good hygiene practices. For those who have a cold or the flu, we command healing to manifest in their bodies and confess a quick recovery time for them.

Holy Spirit, help me to continue to pray effectually for those who have been affected by the cold and flu season:

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, please strengthen the bodies of those whose immune systems have been compromised due to previous health challenges. Show them the necessary steps they need to take to protect themselves and their loved ones. Please protect our children and elderly and keep them safe from sickness and disease. Please show school teachers, day care center workers and parents how they can cut down on the transfer of cold and flu germs among their students.

Beloved Father, forgive us for not taking better care of our bodies. Forgive us for poor eating habits and lack of exercise which has resulted in compromised or diminished immune systems.

Lord of Heaven’s Armies, You are the great God and the great King above all gods. We worship, bow down and kneel before You, Lord, our Maker. You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. All the gods of the peoples are idols, but You made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before You. Strength and beauty are in Your sanctuary. We recognize that You are glorious and strong. We give You the glory that You deserve! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Immortal Father, we pray for all persons with renegade blood disorders such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Sickle Cell Anemia, Lupus, Hypertension, and Hemophilia. Lord, today, we apply Your Word to these blood-related diseases and we are expecting miracles. Lord Jesus, You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. Therefore, by Your wounds, (speak the names) are healed. According to the authority that You have given us to heal the sick and cast out demons, we command Your Word to be operative in the blood cells of every person who is experiencing blood disorders. Lord, we command their blood circulatory systems to operate perfectly. We command their lungs, hearts and organs to function correctly as designed by You. We command their red blood cells to carry the appropriate oxygen throughout their bodies and their white blood cells to form a protective shield against all foreign bodies. Lord, we confess that as each person pays attention to Your Word, and lets it penetrate deep into their hearts, the Word will bring life to them and healing to their whole body. Lord, we are expecting their health to be restored. Yes Father, we are expecting miracles!

Holy Spirit, we ask You to touch the hearts of those persons who have not confessed Jesus Christ,  to confess Him as their Savior and Lord. Please give strength to those who are weak, and increase power to those who have no might. Lord, please give wisdom to the practitioners who provide medical treatment. Regardless of their relationship with You, please work through them for the sake of those who are suffering. Holy Spirit, please remind those who are battling with their health to take Your Word daily; just as they would take their prescribed medicine. Remind them to eat healthy foods and to get the proper rest. Help those persons who are struggling with receiving help to accept the kindness of others. Holy Spirit, please help them to guard their hearts and minds from doubt and unbelief. Please give them comfort, and help them to walk by faith.

Loving Father, forgive all acts of sinfulness for those persons who are battling with renegade blood disorders. Please forgive the sins and iniquities of their forefathers. Forgive each person for worry, fear and for walking in doubt and disobedience. Forgive those who do not diligently seek after You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind those persons with blood disorders of those they need to forgive and help them to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. Lord, You are greater than we can understand. Your years cannot be counted. You draw up the water vapor and distill it into rain. Only You know where light comes from and where darkness goes. You direct the movement of the stars, binding the cluster of the Pleiades and loosening the cords of Orion. Holy and triumphant is Your Name! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Holy Spirit, please help those who are overcoming cancer to set their hope on You so that they will continue to obey God’s commands and not forget His glorious miracles. Continue to use all health professionals as instruments of healing; through the practice of medicine, prayer offered in faith, the laying on of hands and other means of healing that You have ordained. Give researchers divine insight into the causes, diagnoses and treatment of cancers. Strengthen those persons who are suffering with these conditions in their bodies, and help them to live out their faith in You. Increase their endurance and patience as they walk through the healing process. Fill them with Your presence and remind them that You will never fail or abandon them. Daily remind them that there is nothing too hard for God and with Him, everything is possible. Surround them with Your peace as they undergo chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery or other cancer treatment methods. Touch the hearts of family members to provide an atmosphere of faith, hope and love.

Gracious God, forgive us for doubting Your love and power to heal our bodies. Forgive us for being irresponsible with our health. Forgive us for not acknowledging the abundance of Your healing virtue, grace and mercy which we have received through our Lord and Savior. Forgive us for ungodly behavior including: unforgiveness, bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Forgive our nation for creating unhealthy conditions in our food supply and environment. We confess our sinfulness for we have not always obeyed Your commandments and lived faithfully in Your Word. Have mercy upon us according to Your Word. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. A Prayer for the Manifestations of Miracles and Healing

Heavenly Father, we thank You for manifesting Your mighty miracles throughout the earth. Thank You for being our strength in times of weakness. Thank You for blessing us with Your presence (begin to thank the Lord for how He has blessed Your life). You are our God; we earnestly search for You. Our souls thirst for You; our bodies long for You in this parched and weary land where there is no water. Lord, we have seen You in Your sanctuary and gazed upon Your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how we praise You! We will praise You as long as we live; we will lift up our hands to You in prayer. You are more satisfying than the richest feast and we will praise You with songs of joy.

Awesome Father, according to Your own will, You ministered with signs and wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we expect miracles and healing to manifest in the earth. Lord Jesus, as You performed so many miracles during Your ministry, we rejoice that You said that we would do greater works than You did because You were going to the Father and were sending the Holy Spirit. As believers, we confess that we will move to the “greater things.” In Jesus’ Name, we command the sick to be made whole. We command the deaf to hear, the mute to speak and the lame to walk. We command relationships to be healed and finances to be made whole. We destroy the assignments of the devil against God’s people, now! We decree that Your marvelous works will follow us so that people will see Your glory in our lives and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and redeemer. We boldly confess that we are over comers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimonies.

Holy Spirit, have Your perfect way in our lives and during our worship, bible study classes and ministry meetings so that miracles and healing can flow freely. Stir up the gift of faith within each pastor, leader, member and visitor to expect great manifestations of Your power, not only during our worship experiences, but every day of their lives. Lord, allow us to have personal and direct access to Your glory so we will proclaim as the Samaritan woman, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did!” Holy Spirit, empower us so that we will be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ.

Merciful Father, forgive those of us who operate in fear and unbelief. Forgive those who have not taken the time to say “thank you” for the miraculous works You have done in their lives. Forgive all of us for not comprehending with all the saints the breadth, length, depth, height, and love of Christ which passes all understanding and knowledge. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all to not yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Triumphant Lord, You are Holy, Holy, Holy. You are the God who is, who was, and who is to come. You are the Almighty. You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the Eternal King, the Unseen One who will never die; You alone are God. In the precious Name of Jesus, Amen!

A Prayer for Physical Healing

Scripture Reading: Psalm 145:3-21, James 5:13-16

Righteous Father, we thank You, for sending Your Word to heal us, and for snatching us from the power of death. Thank You, Jesus, for shedding Your blood so that people may be healed. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering the Word to provide healing when we speak it. Father, we praise and honor Your Name. Your Name is Lord and we will rejoice before You. You have been our home through all generations. We praise You, Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Lord, what a variety of things You have made. In wisdom, You have made them all. The earth is full of Your creatures.

Lord Jesus, You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. Therefore, by Your wounds, we are healed. According to the authority that You have given us to heal the sick, we command Your Word to be operative in our bodies. Lord, we command our cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, exocrine, lymphatic, immune, muscular, skeletal, nervous, renal, urinary, reproductive, respiratory and sensory systems to operate perfectly. We command our red blood cells to carry the appropriate oxygen throughout our bodies and our white blood cells to form a protective shield against all sicknesses. Your Word will penetrate deep into our hearts and bodies.

If you are personally experiencing sickness, declare this Word over your life today. If you are not, maintain your health by daily declaring Healing Scriptures that can be downloaded from https://www.prayerinstitute.com.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to strengthen those of us who are weak and increase power to those who have no might. Remind those of us who are battling with illnesses to confess Your Word daily; just as we would take prescribed medicine. Give medical practitioners wisdom to provide effective treatment. Remind us all to eat healthy foods, exercise and get the proper rest. Help those who are struggling with receiving help to accept the kindness of others. Holy Spirit, please help them to guard their hearts and minds from doubt and unbelief. Holy Spirit, please give us all comfort and help us to walk by faith.

Loving Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness, including worry, fear and for walking in doubt and disobedience. Forgive those who do not diligently seek after You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

A Prayer for Mental Healing

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 8, Psalm 40:1-8

Reflections of the Heart:

Today, we receive comfort in God’s Word, “Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

Scriptural Prayer:

Glorious Father, we thank You for giving us Your peace and joy. Thank You for providing a life of hope, abundance, and destiny. Thank You for being our strength in times of weakness. You are great and most worthy of praise. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean’s depths. You are the King of glory; the Lord strong and mighty. You are the Lord, invincible in battle. O Lord, You have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. We are grateful that when we, Your people, call to You for help, You hear and rescue us out of our troubles.

Omniscient Father, You said that You would give rest to all who are weary and heavy burdened. Your yoke is easy and Your burdens are light. We are supposed to trust in You with all of our hearts and not depend on our own understanding. We are to seek Your will in all that we do and You will show us which path to take. You are the God who will bring rest to our souls. We trust in Your Word and believe that Your Word will be operative in the hearts and souls of those with mental illnesses. We confess that when they walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive them and stretch forth Your hand and save them. Lord, You have left Your gift of peace of mind with them so their hearts will not be afraid. Although they may be pressed on every side by troubles, they will not be crushed and broken. They may feel perplexed, but they will not give up and quit. They may be hunted down, but You will never abandon them. They may be knocked down, but they will get up and keep going. Father, we confess that they will lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams. They will not be afraid of the threat of disaster or destruction; for You are their security.

Find God’s promises concerning peace and begin to declare them over those people who you know are stressed and overburdened by life:

Loving Father, we ask You to replace their sadness with joy, defeat with victory, and fatigue with praise. Help those who feel depressed or sad to not focus on their circumstances, but rather focus on Your blessings in their lives. Remind them to praise You at all times. Holy Spirit, bring all things to their memory that concern the Father’s plans for their lives. Give them power as they meditate on the Word. Help them to keep God’s commandments and embrace them in their hearts. Father, help them to not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word. Holy Spirit, we ask that You strengthen and renew their innermost being. Prevent the fiery darts of the enemy from consuming them. Help them to hear Your voice and obey Your will. Help them to find and surround themselves with Believers who are strong in the Word and in faith who will keep them accountable as they walk through this season.

Merciful Father, forgive those in need of mental healing for their sins. Forgive them for worry and fear. Forgive them for being anxious. Forgive them for not being diligent in fasting and praying. Forgive them for not trusting You at all times.

You are the Lord God Almighty! Let the whole world glorify You, Lord; let it sing Your praises! You will march forth like a mighty hero. You will come out like a warrior, full of fury. You will shout Your battle cry and crush all of Your enemies. You alone are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Healing of Diabetes

Scripture Reading: Psalm 111, James 5:13-16

Our Father, we thank You for salvation, the greatest miracle of all. Thank You for Your eternal love and unmerited grace. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to break the power of the devil and to bring us hope, health and healing. Lord, You are good, and Your unfailing love endures forever. You are great, and You perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God. How great are Your signs and how powerful are Your wonders. Lord, You are high above all the nations. Your glory is higher than the heavens. Who can be compared with You, Who is enthroned on high? We give thanks because You are near. People everywhere will tell of Your wonderful deeds.

Awesome Father, You brought Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and powerful arm.Jesus Christ, Your Son, turned water into wine, cleansed lepers, healed the sick, raised the dead and fed five thousand people with two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples so that we would believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God, and have life in His Name. Therefore,Father, we expect You to display Your glory in the lives of those persons who are in need of healing and deliverance from diabetes. With You, nothing is impossible. We expect diabetes to be dissolved, blood sugars to be regulated and those who struggle with eating unhealthy foods to be set free. As we pray for those in need of healing, we confess that Your healing power will operate through us.

Holy Spirit, I confess healing and wholeness over: (say the names of people you know who need healing from diabetes.)

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, please help us to be bolder about praying for healing. Help those in need of healing to trust in You with all of their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. Loving Father, please open the eyes of anyone with diabetes and broaden their understanding so they will know how to eat healthier, exercise and lose weight to lessen their diabetic symptoms. Remind them to look to You for help, strength and power. Bless them to find others who will help support them along the way to ensure they are making better life choices.

Merciful Father, forgive persons with diabetes for all acts of sinfulness, including, strife, discord, jealousy, violence, injustice, hatred, greed, idolatry and pride. Forgive them for not taking their health seriously and ignoring warning signs and the advice of physicians that their health is in jeopardy. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).Holy Spirit, remind persons with diabetes of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals to you, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help persons with diabetes not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Lord, You are the Almighty! Only You can open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. You cause the lame to leap like deer and those who cannot speak to sing for joy. You cause springs to gush forth in the wilderness and streams to water the wasteland. You cause the parched ground to become a pool and springs of water to satisfy the thirsty land. Great and awesome is Your Name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
