October 3: A Feast of Tabernacles Prayer for Our Communities

Abba Father, we thank You for calling us to worship You and bring You gifts during the Feast of Tabernacles.  Thank You, Jesus, for teaching us God’s Word as You taught the Israelites at the Temple in Jerusalem during the Festival of Tabernacles.  Holy Spirit, we thank You for bringing God’s Word to our remembrance which tells us to celebrate this special Feast each year from generation to generation. O God, You are our God; we earnestly search for You. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how we praise You!  We will praise You as long as we live, lifting up our hands to You in prayer.  You satisfy us more than the richest feast. We will praise You with songs of joy.

Glorious Father, the Feast of Tabernacles belongs to You and tonight we will appear before You, O Lord our God, with our special gifts.  Lord, we joyfully declare that this festival is a happy time of celebration.  We celebrate this festival to honor You, Lord, because You have blessed us with bountiful harvests and have given us success in all our work.  Today, we remember that You brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and had them live in temporary shelters, as we give thanks that Jesus Christ has become our permanent shelter.  We are so grateful for Your presence, anointing, healing, power, joy, peace, and love.

Faithful Father, we pray for Your provision of both the time and the resources to continue celebrating this festival in a way that will be pleasing to You. Holy Spirit, speak to our hearts concerning the special gifts we are giving to the Lord.  Help us to be grateful for God’s bountiful provision of all that we need so we may be generous in our giving.  Lord, bless our joyous time together as a Church Family on tonight.

Holy Father, forgive our sins.  Forgive those of us for being slow or reluctant to be grateful for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us.  Forgive those who have been disobedient to Your Word by failing to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with joy and gratitude.  Forgive those who were able to bring their special offerings during this special time tonight, but fail to do so.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He shows you, say aloud, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, You are King! Let the nations tremble! You sit on Your throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! You sit in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations. Let them praise Your great and awesome Name. Your Name is holy! Mighty King, lover of justice, You have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. We exalt You, Lord our God! We bow low before Your feet, for You are holy!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

September 30: A Prayer for the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the 19th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the 19th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference.  Thank You for redeeming and reconciling us back to You, through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to comfort, empower and guide us here on earth.  Holy Spirit, we are thankful to You, for Your manifested presence during the 19th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference. Lord, the earth is Yours, and everything that is in it; the world and all its people belong to You.  You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.  You are the King of glory.  You are strong and mighty; You are invincible in battle.  You are an awesome God.

Holy Father, we declare that Your Spirit will be poured out upon the 19th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference is a mighty way.  As Your Spirit saturates every speaker, psalmist, musician, conferee, and volunteer; Your sons and daughters will prophesy; Your old men will dream dreams and Your young men will see visions.  We declare that everyone who will attend this conference will be filled, empowered by, and overflowing with Your Spirit.  Your servants, both male and female will abundantly receive Your Spirit in Jesus’ Name.  We confess that as we are all gathered at the conference on one accord, a mighty rushing wind will fill The Kingdom Builders’ Center and everyone will be filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives us utterance.  Father, it is the infilling of the Holy Spirit that empowers us to be witnesses for You in the earth.  We declare that everyone who attends this conference will be set free; for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty in Jesus’ Name!

Loving Father, please instruct us on how to create an atmosphere that is inviting to the Holy Spirit during the conference.  We desire for Your Spirit to hover over us as He hovered over the face of the waters in the beginning of time.  Stretch everyone associated with this conference so that they will expect a mighty move of Your Spirit in their lives.  Remove any preconceived notions that some conferees have been taught in the past concerning the Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit, we invite You to have Your way during this conference.  Fall fresh upon us!  Help us to lay aside our own agendas and motives so that we can receive a direct impartation of Your power, wisdom, direction, correction, encouragement and love.  Let each person leave this conference walking in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Merciful Father, forgive us for at times grieving Your Spirit.  Forgive us for acts of sinfulness such as: pride, rebellion, disobedience, selfishness, hatred, stealing, lying, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and idolatry.  Forgive those of us who have not worshipped You, in Spirit and in Truth.  Forgive those of us who speak of the Holy Spirit, but do not allow Him to operate within us.  Forgive those of us who have a form of godliness, but deny Your power.

Lord of Heaven’s Armies, Your home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth.  You draw up water from the oceans and pour it down as rain on the land.  The Lord is Your Name!  In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

September 29: A Feast of Tabernacles Home Celebration Prayer

Abba Father, we celebrate Your indwelling presence in our lives.  We thank You today, for calling us as a family to celebrate life together.  Thank You for righteous fellowship in our homes.  We thank You for ordering our steps in Your Word.  Thank You for the events, activities and programs during the Feast of Tabernacles. We are grateful for our fellowship which we have with You, our Father; Jesus, our Savior; and the Holy Spirit, our Sustainer.  Lord, You are an awesome God.  Your deeds are so amazing; all who delight in You should ponder them.  Everything You do reveals Your glory and majesty.  Your righteousness never fails.  You are wonderful and Your Name is highly exalted.  You are worthy of all our praise.  You are worthy of the glory, honor and power.  Lord, the heavens declare Your glory and the skies display Your craftsmanship.

Mighty Father, as Your children, Your will is for us to dwell together in unity.  So as the Body of Christ, we will continue to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.  We will not neglect our meeting together, but we will encourage one another in the faith. We will not get tired of doing what is good for each other.  As a result, we expect to reap a harvest of blessing at the right time.  We will not give up and at every opportunity, we will do good to everyone—especially to those in our family of faith.  Iron sharpens iron, so we will surround ourselves with those who have like minds so that we are positioned to glorify You in our public and private lives.  We will engage in righteous fellowship and forsake all that will deter us from fulfilling Your will.  Father, by faith, we will be doers of Your Word and not hearers only.

Righteous Father, we ask that You align our relationships with Your will in our homes, church, jobs and communities.  Holy Spirit, show each of us how to organize our calendars and schedules so that our fellowship with You and our family and friends is more of a priority. Help us to set the example of what righteousness looks like. Knit our hearts closer together.  Lord, help us to be obedient as You order our steps.

Give us the power to crucify our flesh and walk in Your light.  As we yield to the power of the Holy Spirit, help us to let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify You, our Heavenly Father.

Merciful Father, forgive us for our sins.  Forgive those for the unrighteous relationships that keep them from Your best for their lives. Forgive those of us for putting our work in front of family and friends. Forgive us for having fellowship or relationship with anything that is not of You.  Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, You are to be praised forever and ever.  Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, power, glory, victory, and the majesty.  Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours.  This is Your Kingdom, Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.  Wealth and honor come from You alone, for You rule over everything.  Power and might are in Your hand, and it is at Your discretion that people are made great and given strength.  O Lord our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious Name.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

September 27: A Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Feast of Tabernacles

Glorious Father, the Feast of Tabernacles belongs to You, and we will all appear before You, O Lord our God, at the place You choose. We commit to appearing before You with special gifts.  Lord, we will come before You joyfully declaring that this festival will be a happy time of celebrating with our sons and daughters, pastors, neighbors, orphans and widows from our towns.  For seven days, we will celebrate this festival to honor You, Lord, at the place You choose, for You have blessed us with bountiful harvests and have given us success in all our work. We declare that this festival will be a time of great joy for all. While we remember that You brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and had them live in temporary shelters, we will remember that Jesus Christ has become our permanent shelter.  We anticipate Your glory “tabernacling” among us during this exciting feast.  We are expecting your presence, anointing, healing, power, joy, peace, and love.

Heavenly Father, we pray for Your provision of both the time and the resources to celebrate this festival in a way that will be pleasing to You. Grant us favor with our employers during the festival.  Holy Spirit, bring to our minds the special gifts we should bring to the Lord on each of the seven days of the festival.  Help us to be grateful for God’s bountiful provision of all that we need so we may be generous in our giving.  As we build our shelters (tents), help us to share with our families, so that everyone understands that each shelter, regardless of its size or placement, is built in remembrance of God’s blessings in our lives.

Holy Father, when You brought Your people out of Egypt, they refused to obey and did not remember the miracles You had done for them.  Instead, they became stubborn and appointed a leader to take them back to their slavery in Egypt! But You are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love. You did not abandon them.  In Your mercy, Father, forgive those of us for being slow or reluctant to be grateful for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us.  Forgive those who are disobedient to Your Word and fail to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles with joy and gratitude.

September 1: A Prayer of Preparation for the Fall Feasts

Our Father, we thank You for demonstrating Your loving-kindness and tender mercies towards us.  Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us from the power of the evil one.  Thank You for Your appointed times and seasons.  We are thankful for Your presence in our lives. Lord, there is none like You.  You are great and Your Name is full of power.  Who would not fear You, O King of the nations?  That title belongs to You alone.  Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like You.

Omniscient Father, we know that there is a season for everything.  There is a time for every purpose under heaven. As the Body of Christ, we make our declaration to celebrate the Fall Feasts and spend time with You.  We declare that the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles are Your appointed times and we will observe them. By faith, we expect to experience Your love, power, and presence in the New Year.  On the day of the Feast of Trumpets, when the trumpets sound, we will assemble together and respond to the call to honor Your faithfulness.  During the High Holy Days and on the Day of Atonement, we will afflict our souls with prayer and fasting.  We will re-evaluate our lives, repent for our sins, and draw closer to You.  During the Feast of Tabernacles, we will remember that Christ has become our High Priest over all the good things that have come.  He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands.  Jesus Christ, our big brother, has secured our redemption forever.  Hallel YAH!

Holy Spirit, help me to prepare for the Fall Feasts by:

Holy Spirit, help us to reflect, repent, reconcile, remember, and rejoice.  Cause the mind of Christ to be in us.  Show us how to celebrate our Father God during the Fall Feasts.  What can we do and say to show our love and make You happy?  You continue to bless us over and over.  How can we bless You?  Show us what it is that pleases You.  Please help us to slow down during this month of September to spend quality time with You.  Reveal to us what needs to be changed or improved in our lives.  Help us to mend broken relationships.  Continue to touch our hearts about the Father’s will for our lives.  Cause Your peace to settle into our hearts.

Today, I will trust the Lord and work to change:

Compassionate Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness including:  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, homosexuality, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and revelries.  Forgive us for not always obeying Your Word and spending enough time with You.   Forgive those who do not choose to observe Your appointed Feasts.

Lord, You are the only true God.  You are the living God and the everlasting King!  The whole earth trembles at Your anger and the nations cannot stand up to Your wrath.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen
