A Prayer For Immigrant Families Along The U.S. Border

Gracious Father, we thank You for the signing of the executive order for immigrant families to stay together.  Thank You for being concerned for all humanity, including immigrant families.  Thank You for Your presence, love and mercy towards these families.  Lord God, Your ways are perfect.  All of Your promises prove true.  You are a shield for all who look to You for protection.  There is no God except You, Lord.  You are a solid rock.

Righteous Father, we command justice to continue to run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream for the immigrant families entrenched in the current atrocity that separated children from their parents in America!  Lord, we rebuke the spirits of obstinance, chaos, and confusion and command peace to be still in the processing of these families.  Lord, continue to hear the cries of these families and rescue them from trouble.  We expect that You will meet their needs speedily from Your glorious riches which have been given in Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit, help President Donald Trump and Congress to reach a scriptural resolution for this issue.  Give them no rest until it is done!  Touch the hearts of the United States Border Patrol men and women and help them to treat the families, especially the children, fairly and with compassion.  Remind them of the legacy of America in which many families have found better economic opportunities and refuge throughout history.  Lord, please have mercy on our nation!  Convict the hearts of those who are preying on the fears of these families to manipulate them.  As the Body of Christ, please show us what actions we are to take and how we are to extend Your love and grace to these families.

Abba Father, forgive our leaders for the dehumanizing and unscriptural acts of separating immigrant families. Holy Spirit, help our nation to be forgiving.

Holy Spirit, help our citizens not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.\

Triumphant God, You are King!  The mountains melt like wax before You, Lord.  The heavens proclaim Your righteousness; every nation sees Your glory!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Our Graduates

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 92:1-4, Jeremiah 29:11-14

Reflection of the Heart:

Romans 12:15 tells us to rejoice with those who are rejoicing.  We celebrate with each graduate on this day. The best is yet to come!

Scriptural Prayer:

Gracious Father, we thank You for our graduates. Thank You for being the source of all wisdom.  Thank You for the plans that You have for each of their lives; plans for good and not evil, so that they will each have a future and a hope.  We give thanks to You, Lord. We call upon Your Name and make Your Name known among the people. We will sing psalms to You, Lord, and talk about all of Your wondrous works.

Blessed Father, we declare that our graduates will not turn away from Your Word. They will meditate on it day and night so that they will be successful in everything they do.  As they continue their education or enter the job market, we confess that they will trust in You with all their hearts and not depend on their own understanding. They will seek Your will in all they do, so that You will direct their paths.  Lord, many of our youth are leaving home for the first time. We declare that they have been taught to choose the right path, so now that they are older, they will remain on that path. They will choose Christ over culture and holiness over worldliness.  Godly wisdom will lead and guide each graduate so that in all they do, they will not gain the world and lose their souls. We expect favor to surround each of our graduates as they enter this new phase in life.

List the names of those persons you know who are graduating.  Now ask the Holy Spirit how you should intercede for them:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Loving Father, please help our graduates to surround themselves with like-minded individuals.  Holy Spirit, please remind them that the decisions they make today will have an impact on their future.  Open doors for them that no man can shut. Help them to identify and take advantage of scholarships, grants, internship opportunities and job leads.  As they begin this new season in their lives, remind them to continually seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously so that the Father will provide them with all that they need.

Merciful Father, please forgive our graduates for any acts of sinfulness that they have committed.  Forgive them if they have made poor decisions during their time in high school or college that is now limiting their future.  Forgive them for any illicit, illegal or inappropriate behavior that they engaged in while they were in school. Forgive those who have disrespected their parents, teachers, friends or themselves. As for me Holy Spirit, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our graduates of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, please help our graduates not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Triumphant King, You are the Lord, our Redeemer and Creator.  You are the Lord who made all things. You alone stretched out the heavens.  You made the earth and everything in it by Yourself. You reign forever! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We will continually sing praises to You and declare that You are the King over all of the earth!

Righteous Father, we declare that favor surrounds us like a shield!  We will stand on Your Word and speak Your truth. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path.   Lord, it is Your will that we live life abundantly. Therefore, we confess that we will walk by faith and not by sight as we trust in Your precious promises.  Lord, we trust and believe that no good thing will be kept from us as we walk uprightly before You. Lord, we expect You to put a wall of protection around us so that we will prosper in everything we do.

A Prayer for Our Church Staff

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 112, Hebrews 6:9-12

Reflections of the Heart:

It has been said that in order to give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity. Let us thank God for our church staff and their devoted service to our church family as we pray for them today.

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for our church staff. Thank You for the long hours they put in and for the sacrifices they make in order to provide our church family with excellent service. Thank You for keeping and upholding them and their families. Lord, because of Your unfailing love, we can enter Your house. We will worship at Your Temple with deepest awe. We love You, Lord. You are our strength. You are so good and so merciful. We give honor and glory to Your holy Name today.

Sovereign Father, we declare that our church staff loves one another as You have loved them. By this all will know that they are Your disciples. We decree that they will be strong and immovable as they go about their daily tasks. They will always work enthusiastically for You, knowing that nothing they do for You is ever useless. When they are met with opposition, challenges, rudeness, or disrespect, we confess that they will keep a calm demeanor, trusting You to fight their battles. We decree that they will never let loyalty and kindness leave them. They will tie them around their neck as a reminder and write them deep within their hearts. Then they will have favor with both You and people, and they will earn a good reputation. We believe that our staff will excel in everything they put their hands to do and we expect blessings to overtake them.

Think of two staff members, list their names here, then ask the Holy Spirit how you can specifically show your appreciation for their service:

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy Spirit, please help our church staff to always operate in unity and peace with one another, even if they have differences of opinion. Let the love of Jesus abide in their hearts continually. May the fruit of the Spirit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control be evident in their daily interactions with others. Help them to care for their physical health appropriately by getting enough rest, sleep, healthy nutrition and exercise. Show them how to balance their work and home life so that they do not become stressed and frustrated. Help them to stay committed to their personal spiritual growth through regular prayer, fasting and the study of Your Word. Give them supernatural wisdom to solve problems, develop strategies, and produce effective results as they meet the demands of this growing ministry.

Merciful Father, forgive our church staff for their sins. Forgive them for outbursts of anger, jealousy, envy, strife, gossiping, murmuring, complaining, anxiety, confusion, and dissension. Forgive those who are not reflecting Your character to their co-workers. Forgive those who have lost sight of Your purpose for placing them on our church staff.  Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind our church staff of all those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.

Holy Father, help our church staff not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Lord of Heaven’s Armies, all heaven will praise Your great wonders. Myriad of angels will praise You for Your faithfulness. For who in all of heaven can compare with You? What mightiest angel is anything like You? The highest angelic powers stand in awe of You. You are far more awesome than all who surround Your throne.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Our Pastors and Their Families

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 47, Psalm 128

Reflections of the Heart:

Our Pastors carry an incredible weight that many of us will never truly understand.  They need our prayers, our commitment, and our support. So don’t forget to pray for our Pastors and their families during your prayer time.

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the men and women You have appointed as our Pastors. Thank You for blessing our Pastors with their leadership and wisdom. Thank You for leading, directing, and protecting their families. Lord, You are our Good Shepherd, our High Priest.  You are a great God and a great King above all gods. You hold in Your hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to You, for You made it. Your hands formed the dry land, too. Today, we bow down and worship You. We kneel before You and acknowledge You as our maker. You are our God and we are the people that You watch over and have taken under Your care.

Almighty Father, Your Word says that those who fear You and delight in obeying Your commands will be joyful.  You promised that their children will be successful everywhere. We declare that the descendants of our Pastors are mighty on earth and blessed because they are the generation of Godly people.  We confess that our Pastors will be wealthy and their good deeds will last forever. We decree that their peace is great and their composure is undisturbed. We declare that our Pastors’ families will experience the Kingdom of God here on earth; people will see their good works and glorify You, our Father in Heaven.  Our Pastors obey Your commands, therefore, their families will be blessed in the city and in the fields. They will be blessed when they come in and when they go out. Lord, we expect that You will cause their enemies who rise against them one way to be defeated and flee seven ways. Lord, it is our expectation that You will command Your blessing upon their storehouses and in all that they set their hands to do and You will bless them in the land.  We confess that our Pastors and their families are the head and not the tail; they are above only and not beneath. We declare that You, Father, will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle our Pastors and their families.

Holy Spirit, show me how to pray specifically for my Pastors and their families:

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Faithful Father, we joyfully lift up the families of our Pastors.  Holy Spirit, we ask You to fill their homes with Your gentleness, peace, joy, and Godly order.  We lift up their marriages and we ask You to bless them psychologically, emotionally and sexually. Bless their children to mature academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Lord, strengthen and encourage those families who feel overwhelmed by the ministry.  Lord, we ask that You protect our Pastors and their families from the onslaughts of the devil and the disrespect of people. Please help them to maintain balance in their public and private lives.

Merciful Father, forgive us for not being steadfast in praying for our Pastors and their families.  Forgive those in our Church Family for speaking ill against our Pastors and rebelling against their teachings.  Forgive those who gossip, murmur, complain, and whine. Please forgive our Pastors and their families for any acts of sinfulness including: anger, wrath, envy, jealousy, or dissension. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind our Pastors and their families to forgive each other and other people, and please help them to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help our Pastors and their families not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, may You be praised forever and ever!  Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty.  Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours. This is Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Joy for the Body of Christ

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 29, Philippians 4:4-8

Reflections of the Heart:

God, the source of our hope, will fill us completely with joy and peace because we trust in Him.  We will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Scriptural Prayer:

Omniscient Father, as the Body of Christ, we thank You for being our God.  We thank You for saving us through the sacrifice of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide, teach and comfort us. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering us and filling our lives with joy. Hallel YAH!  Awesome Father, You are great and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. The earth is Yours and everything in it; the world and all its people belong to You. You laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Lord, Your works are wonderful. You are our help and shield.  In You, do our hearts rejoice because we trust in Your holy Name. Let Your unfailing love continue to surround us Lord, for our hope is in You alone.

Wonderful Father, we declare as the Body of Christ, that as we keep the Your commands and abide in Your love; Your joy will remain in us and our joy will overflow.  Today, we confess that we will count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. We will let patience have its perfect work in us so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.  Lord, we confess that instead of shame and dishonor; we will enjoy a double share of honor. We boldly declare that in this land we possess a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy is ours.

These are the three things that I am joyful for:

Righteous Father, we ask You to bless all members of the Body of Christ.  Holy Spirit, please instruct us in our relationships, ministries, careers, and finances.  Make our hearts strong, blameless, and holy as we stand before God, our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His holy people.  Remind us daily of the Word which tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Holy Spirit, please help each of us to develop a joyful disposition. Help us all to enjoy life and laugh more.

Loving Father, forgive us for any acts of sinfulness, including strife, discord, jealousy, rivalries, gossip and any abuse of power.  Forgive us for at times not being joyful, being that Your joy is our strength. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Immortal Lord, You are the blessed and only Almighty God.  You are the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. You alone can never die.  You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. To You belongs all honor and power forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Physical Healing (Mid-Month)

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 145:3-21, James 5:13-16

Reflections of the Heart:

Jesus personally carried our sins in His body on the cross, so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.  By His wounds (stripes), we are HEALED! I Peter 2:24

Scriptural Prayer:

Righteous Father, we thank You, for sending Your Word to heal us, and for snatching us from the power of death.  Thank You, Jesus, for shedding Your blood so that people may be healed. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for empowering the Word to provide healing when we speak it.  Father, we praise and honor Your Name. Your Name is Lord and we will rejoice before You. You have been our home through all generations. We praise You, Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.  Lord, what a variety of things You have made. In wisdom, You have made them all. The earth is full of Your creatures.

Lord Jesus, You personally carried our sins in Your body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.  Therefore, by Your wounds, we are healed. According to the authority that You have given us to heal the sick, we command Your Word to be operative in our bodies.  Lord, we command our cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, exocrine, lymphatic, immune, muscular, skeletal, nervous, renal, urinary, reproductive, respiratory and sensory systems to operate perfectly.  We command our red blood cells to carry the appropriate oxygen throughout our bodies and our white blood cells to form a protective shield against all sicknesses. Your Word will penetrate deep into our hearts and bodies.

If you are personally experiencing sickness, declare this Word over your life today.  If you are not, maintain your health by daily declaring Healing Scriptures that can be downloaded from https://www.prayerinstitute.com/prayer/model-prayers/healing.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to strengthen those of us who are weak and increase power to those who have no might.  Remind those of us who are battling with illnesses to confess Your Word daily; just as we would take prescribed medicine.  Give medical practitioners wisdom to provide effective treatment. Remind us all to eat healthy foods, exercise and get the proper rest.  Help those who are struggling with receiving help to accept the kindness of others. Holy Spirit, please help them to guard their hearts and minds from doubt and unbelief.  Holy Spirit, please give us all comfort and help us to walk by faith.

Loving Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness, including worry, fear and for walking in doubt and disobedience.  Forgive those who do not diligently seek after You. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, You are greater than we can understand.  Your years cannot be counted. You draw up the water vapor and distill it into rain.  Only You know where the light comes from and where darkness goes. You direct the movement of the stars, binding the cluster of the Pleiades and loosening the cords of Orion.  Holy and triumphant is Your Name! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Our Senior Adults

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 16:5-11, Titus 2:1-5

Reflections of the Heart:

Our elders have seen things we couldn’t even imagine and survived things we could never comprehend facing.  They are filled with wisdom and experience that our society needs. Take some time to pray for the senior adults in your life.  Let us not forget them.

Scriptural Prayer:

Gracious Father, we thank You for our senior adults.  Thank You for blessing each day of their lives. Thank You for blessing them with an abundance of Your wisdom and knowledge.  Thank You for providing for their spiritual, emotional, financial and physical needs. Loving Father, we praise Your Name. We praise You because You are good.  We will celebrate Your lovely Name with music. We know Your greatness and that You, our Lord, are greater than any other god. Your Name, O Lord, endures forever; Your fame is known to every generation.  You are righteous in everything that You do; You are filled with kindness. You are close to all who call upon You in truth. You grant the desires of those who fear You; You hear their cries for help and rescue them.  We praise You, Lord; may everyone on earth bless Your holy Name forever and ever.

Eternal Father, we confess that the older men in the Body of Christ will exercise self-control, are worthy of respect and live wisely. They have strong faith and are filled with love and patience. We declare that our senior women are honorable and righteous. They are not slanderous or heavy drinkers. Instead, we confess that they will teach others what is good; they will train the younger women in the Body of Christ to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands.  We decree that our senior men are models of God’s strength and faithfulness and they will teach our young men to respect authority, provide for their wives and children, live wisely, lead with compassion and fairness, and love their wives like Christ loves the church. We declare that our senior adults will continue to flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. Even in old age, they will still produce fruit and remain vital and green.

Holy Spirit, we know that some of our senior adults are lonely; please help us to reach out to them and surround them with the love of the Father.  Impress upon their family members to come and visit them and spend quality time with them. Please help us to identify those seniors who have isolated themselves and show us how to effectively meet their needs.  Lord, our seniors have worked hard all of their lives and some of them have seen their retirement funds depleted. Please open up new revenue streams so that they will not have to struggle or go without financially.  Father, protect our seniors from those who would try to prey upon them with get-rich-quick schemes, unnecessary mediation, predatory loans or any other schemes to steal from them. Increase our seniors’ discernment and wisdom when they make decisions, especially where their health and finances are concerned.  Remind our younger generations to regard our seniors with honor and respect.

Write down the names of the seniors that you know.  Now, write down ways that you can enrich or bless their lives:

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Merciful Father, forgive us as a nation for disregarding and disrespecting our senior adults.  Forgive us for viewing seniors as feeble and disposable. Forgive those seniors who don’t depend completely upon You, but look at their circumstances.  Forgive those who have allowed life to cause them to grow bitter and angry. Forgive those who do not check on or intentionally do not spend time with their older relatives. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind our seniors of those they need to forgive and help them to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, remind our senior adults not to yield to temptation but deliver them from the evil one.

Sovereign Lord, there is no one like You!  You are great, and Your Name is full of power. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? That title belongs to You alone! All glory majesty, power and authority are Yours before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer for Our Families

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 100, Psalm 128

Reflections of the Heart:

FAMILY n. pl. families is one of life’s greatest blessings, a group of persons sharing a common ancestry and a group of people who will love and support each other through the good times as well as the bad.

Scriptural Prayer:

Awesome Father, our souls honor You. We thank You for thinking of us enough to give us dominion in the earth.  Thank You for our family relationships. We thank You for singlehood, the institution of marriage and parenthood.  Lord, we thank You for fulfilling Your plans and purposes in our lives. Thank You for blessing us continually with Your loving-kindness and tender mercies.  Your mercy endures forever. We give You thanks, O Lord, with all our hearts. We will sing Your praises. We will bow before Your holy Temple as we worship. We praise Your Name for Your unfailing love and faithfulness, for Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your Name. As soon as we pray, You answer us. You encourage us by giving us strength.

Glorious Father, it is Your will that we prosper and be in health as our souls prosper. Therefore, we declare that our families will live in peaceful habitations, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places.  Those who listen for Your instruction will find favor and joyfulness. We confess that the paths to loving family relationships, quality education, property ownership, employment, entrepreneurship and societal engagement that honors God will be affirmed in their lives. We declare that doors of opportunity will be opened to make room for their gifts as they trust in the Lord. Father, our families will hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering.  The love of God will reign supreme in our homes, and the peace of God will be an umpire in our family relationships.

Holy Spirit, show me which family member(s) for whom I should specifically pray:

Holy Spirit, we ask that You give our family members one heart and put a new spirit within all of us.  Where there are strained relationships in our families, please turn hearts back to one another. Lord, please begin to heal the wounds that family secrets have inflicted on the souls and minds of some of our family members. Lead them to competent Christian counseling to help them process their pain. Give us Your wisdom. Let discretion preserve us and understanding keep us from the way of evil. Please unite our families.  Father, establish and maintain the lines of communication in our homes so that there is good rapport one to another. Please keep our children and youth as the apples of Your eye and hide them under the shadow of Your wings. Let Your peace, love and understanding reside in our families.

Merciful Father, please forgive our families for all acts of sinfulness. Forgive us for allowing other responsibilities and interests such as hobbies, sports, jobs, social media, extreme usage of cell phones, and community obligations to have greater priority over our families.  Forgive us for at times taking our loved ones for granted and for lacking direct interpersonal communication with them. Forgive us for not praying for our families consistently. Forgive us for strife, anger, envy, jealousy, idolatry, adultery and for verbal or physical abuse within our homes. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind our families of those we need to forgive and help us to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help our families not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Sovereign Lord, there is none like You. You are great and Your Name is full of power. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty.  Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours. This is Your Kingdom. We adore You as the one who is over all things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Scriptural Prayer:

Omniscient Father, we thank You for being our God.  Thank You for saving us through the sacrifice of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide, teach and comfort us. Let Your unfailing love continue to surround us, Lord, for our hope is in You alone.

Everlasting Father, You have been so good to us. Therefore, we have no reason to be dejected and sad, for Your joy is our strength. Today, we confess that we will count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. We will let patience have its perfect work in us so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Lord, You are the very source of hope!  We boldly declare that You will fill us completely with joy and peace because we trust in You. We will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, I have joy because:

Holy Spirit, please instruct us in our relationships, ministries, careers, and finances.  Remind us daily of the Word which tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Holy Spirit, please help each of us to develop a joyful disposition.  Help us to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ with gladness. May the joy that we have become contagious throughout our communities and world.

Loving Father, forgive us for all acts of sinfulness, including strife, discord, jealousy, rivalries, gossip and any abuse of power.  Forgive us for when we have allowed the cares of this world to rob us of our joy. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say “I forgive name of person(s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Immortal Lord, You are the blessed and only Almighty God.  You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. You alone can never die.  You live in light so brilliant that no human can approach You. No human eye has ever seen You, nor ever will. To You belongs all honor and power forever and ever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
