Step by Step Prayer Walk Instructions
Step 1: Build Your Team
Your team is your immediate family or a small group of neighbors, close friends, or relatives. Continue to follow safety guidelines with social distancing and masks. Attire-Comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
Step 2: Choose Your Location
Identify a school in your community where you would like your team to pray.
Step 3: Walk & Pray (Aloud):
Use the Prayer Guide to pray the custom-written prayer of the day on your prayer journey. Set aside 30-45 minutes to safely walk your chosen location’s outside perimeter or parking lot. You can also stand in a particular place and extend your hand as you pray aloud.
Step 4: Share Your Experience
Use #prayerwalk to post pictures or videos on your social media to talk to others about your experience with the National Prayer Walk and to invite others to join us. (Example: Today, my family did a #prayerwalk for our community in St. Louis, MO. )
Step 5: Stay connected.
