We invite you to join us for the 17th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference, September 18 - Septemer 21, 2013 in Houston, Texas. An explosion is defined as a “spectacular expansion or bursting out or forth.” What an appropriate description for what has happened and will take place at the conference. “Thy Kingdom Come On Earth: For Thy Name Sake” is our theme and focus for this year, so you can expect that each session and all services will be power-packed, faith-filled, and full of the Glory of God. 

This is a unique conference that allows conferees the opportunity to experience the transformational power and love of Jesus Christ; provides an environment for witnessing miracles, signs and wonders; and offers personal ministry to each registrant in the areas of miracles & healings, deliverance, and prophecy. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned conference attendee, come and experience firsthand the supernatural move of God among His people as we celebrate God’s Kingdom on Earth.

The Feast of Tabernacles Campout will be held during the Prayer Explosion conference at the Kingdom Builders' Center, on Friday night. We camp out on the beautiful grounds right under the stars. This extraordinary campout is all about faith, family, fellowship, and fun! If you've never experienced this biblical Feast, this is your opportunity to celebrate God's appointed time. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. The night will be filled with live entertainment, a bar-b-q cook-off, a pastry cook-off, games, and much more. The campout registration is included in the Prayer Explosion Full Conference Registration Fee.

Prayer Explosion Adult Registration

Full conference registration includes entrance into all seminars & luncheons, Feast of Tabernacles Campout admission,and breakfast Thursday, Friday & Saturday morning. If you are unable to attend the entire conference you can register to attend one day, individual Power Seminars, or the luncheons. Online registration ends Sunday, September 8, 2013. The evening Worship services and the Saturday Miracles & Healing service are free and open to the public.

Prayer Explosion Youth Conference Registration

The Youth Prayer Explosion is always an exciting part of the conference. On September 20th and 21st the youth, grades 5th to 12th, will embark upon the grounds of The Kingdom Builders’ Center for an anointed time of praise, worship, and prayer. There will be dancing, singing, and fellowship.

On Friday, September 20th the youth will participate in the Feast of Tabernacles Campout festivities. Music, games, and other activities have been planned with them in mind. On Saturday, September 21st the youth will have special workshops and breakout sessions along with a dynamic seminar.

We encourage youth pastors and youth ministries to join us. The registration fee is $30.00 per student and includes dinner and admission to the campout on Friday night and all activitites on Saturday including breakfast and lunch.

Volunteer

The Prayer Institute is recruiting volunteers to assist with the 17th Annual Prayer Explosion Conference, September 18 - September 21, 2013. Volunteer Areas of Service include Audio & Visual Support, Customer Service & Hospitality, Deliverance Ministry, Miracles & Healing, Intercession, Registration, Product Sales, Logistics & Programming, Transportation, and Youth Prayer Explosion. For detailed information regarding areas of service please see the descriptions listed below.

Volunteers pay a reduced conference registration fee of $115.00 which includes the Thursday Up Close and Personal Luncheon and the Friday Power Luncheon. Mandatory training for all areas of service will be held on Saturday: August 3rd, August 10th, August 24th, and September 7th, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The final volunteer training and commissioning service will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Trainings are held at The Kingdom Builders' Center (KBC) located at 6011 West Orem Drive, Houston, Texas. Volunteer Areas of Service

Audio & Visual

The Audio & Visual team is responsible for assisting with video camera operation, audio production, and CD duplication. Duties include working stationary and on the shoulder cameras, retrieving supplies for the video team, and converting prophetic words to CD format for the Conferees.

Deliverence

The Deliverence Team focuses on praying for those who are bound and/or influenced by the enemy and assist in fighting against Satan tactics. No experience required; training will be provided.

Registration

Assist the Registrar with the overall registration process such as assembling name badges and registration packets, processing registrations at: the venue location before and during the conference, at the volunteer trainings, as well as at other local conferences; managing The Prayer Institute table, and other duties as directed by the Conference Registrar.

Customer Service & Hospitality

The Customer Service & Hospitality team exemplifies the "Aroma of Christ" while assisting conferees. The teams motto is: "Excellence in service by delighting the customers, above and beyond the call of duty." The Customer Service & Hospitality areas include, but are not limited to: Catcher (male volunteers), Room Assistant, Greeter, Host, and Server. This position assists with the coordination of speaker and volunteer hospitality during the conference. The Customer Service & Hospitality team is a flexible position that may require service in areas not listed.

Logistics & Programming

The Logistics Team is responsible for assisting with the installation (set-up) and dismantling (tear-down) of all Prayer Explosion Conference activities and events before and after the conference. They assist with room set-up, signage placement, and other duties as assigned by the Logistics Team Lead. 

Product Sales

Volunteers on the Product Sales Team will be responsible for assembling/packaging product prior to the conference, making CD and DVD labels, sorting, and inventorying product. This team also assist conference attendees with product purchases, answering questions, and serving as product information resource. 

Speaker Ground Transportation & Product Sales

Speaker Ground Transportation
The Ground Transportation Team is responsible for transporting guest speakers from Houston area airports, to designated hotels, and to/from the conference venue(s). Transportation volunteers must be available when needed. Requirements: a pleasant attitude, patience, flexibility and a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Male drivers preferred, but not required.

Speaker Product Sales

Assist conference attendees at the speaker product sales tables with product purchases, answer questions, and serve as product information resource for guest speakers. Must have a pleasant attitude and patience.

Art Station

Volunteers are responsible for keeping brushes clean, paint replenished, other supplies "creation ready" (pencils sharpened, clean paper ready, etc.), area clean of drips and spills, and keep curious little fingers out of paint palettes and bowls!

Intercessors

Training Length - 5 Weeks
Strategically pray during the months preceding the conference and facilitate intercessory prayer during the conference. Intercessors also serve as the hosts/hostesses for One Stop Ministry. They provide one on one prayer at the altar during Evening Glory and serve as the facilitators for Morning Glory. Intercessors provide the prayer leadership during all volunteer training sessions.

Miracles & Healing

Training Length – 5 Weeks
This team ministers to the conferees in the area of Miracles & Healing. Ministry takes place during One Stop, the Evening Worship Services, the Healing Service on Saturday and when called upon by the Team Lead.

 

Youth Prayer Explosion


Youth Prayer Explosion volunteers assist in various areas including, but not limited to: hospitality, campus and class monitors, registration, programming, product sales, set-up, and tear-down. Accommodations

The Prayer Institute has contracted with three hotels within 15 minutes of the conference venue to assist with your lodging accommodations. Ask for the Prayer Explosion  Conference Block (PEX) when making your reservation. We encourage you to reserve your room early to avoid an increase in the room rate.
