Meet the Board

Jane Costello

jane castilloJane Costello graduated from the University of Texas in 1979 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has had her own CPA practice for 21 years. Prior work experience includes four-and-a-half years with a multi-national accounting firm and five years as the controller for a privately held oil and gas company.

Ms. Costello has been an active member of her local church for more than 25 years. Currently, she is involved with the Prayer Gathering ministry at her church and also serves on the boards of LifeHouse of Houston and Pathway for Little Feet. She has served on several non-profit boards over the past 20-plus years. She first met Pastor Suzette Caldwell as a board member of Professional Women’s Fellowship and they both served on the steering committee for CityFest Houston.

Dr. Joanie Hare

dr. joanie hareDr. Joanie Hare is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician currently working at Houston Perinatal Associates near the Texas Medical Center. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine and her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Her mission statement is”: “to give the best healthcare to women and babies despite the reality they have been told ‘it is impossible’; every woman should reach any goal she desires.”

Dr. Hare holds the titles of Medical Director of the Diabetes Program and Assistant Medical Director-Maternal Transport Service at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas. She is Chairman of the M.D. Anderson Cord Blood Bank Minority Recruitment Committee and since 2006, has served as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Joseph High

joseph highJoseph High is a retired Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Owens Corning in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, Joseph was responsible for the global human resources function, including safety and community relations. Under his leadership of 18,000 people in 26 countries, he managed the alignment of business and people-related objectives, both in strategic and tactical execution.

He is a trustee of the University of Toledo; a board member of Outward Bound USA, a non-profit organization consisting of schools and urban centers that offer summer programs for teens; a member of the HR Policy Association, Executive Leadership Council and Society for Human Resource Management attaining senior level certification – organizations that serve to further business and societal goals. In March 2009, Joseph received the Mayor’s Key to the City of Toledo in recognition of his leadership.

Joseph is a native of Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is married to Kathleen Cullins High. They have three children.

Floyd LeBlanc

floyd leblancFloyd LeBlanc is Vice President of Corporate Communications for CenterPoint Energy, an energy delivery company with operations that include the transmission and distribution of electricity in Houston; natural gas distribution across six states, from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes; and interstate pipeline and gathering operations. With more than 8,800 employees, the company serves more than five million customers. Floyd is responsible for the company’s public relations efforts, including internal and external communications, media relations, crisis communications, advertising and branding.

He began his career with CenterPoint Energy in 1982 as a Power Consultant in Houston electric operations. Floyd later moved to the communications department in 1985 and worked for seven years in generalist and supervisory roles including serving as the company’s media spokesperson.

Floyd is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is married to Deborah LeBlanc. They have two children.
