Meet Pastor Suzette
Bio
Suzette T. Caldwell is the Associate Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston Texas, where she serves alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Kirbyjon H. Caldwell. She is the Board Chair and President of the Prayer Institute, a non-profit community outreach organization that prays for nations and teaches believers how to pray more effectively. She has taught thousands of people to pray using the Model Prayer (the Lord’s Prayer) and holds regular prayer classes at The Prayer Institute. Her book, Praying to Change Your Life, is compiled of 17 years of wisdom and experience that shows believers how to have a clear and open communication with God. The book equips its readers with a model for praying that Pastor Suzette attests will guarantee results and strengthen their relationship with God. In fact, she has personally prayed for three U. S. presidents, including President Barack Obama, using the Lord’s Prayer as the model to pray for God’s will and wisdom to guide their leadership during their presidential terms.
Pastor Suzette is a renowned spiritual leader, prophet, author, entrepreneur and teacher. She has been anointed by God with divine wisdom and understanding to empower God’s people to maximize their spiritual gifts. She is a powerful and dynamic preacher with a Kingdom mindset whose distinctive delivery of the Word of God has changed lives. Pastor Suzette has committed her life to achieving excellence by fashioning her lifestyle according to biblical standards. She strongly believes that any person willing to walk by faith and trust God will achieve his or her God-given dreams and desires.
Under Pastor Suzette’s leadership, The Prayer Institute has had the privilege of providing prayer training to Christian organizations and participating in local and national events such as the presidential inauguration of President George W. Bush in 2005, the O.N.E. prayer event in support of the inauguration of President Barack Obama, the National and Annual Business Meeting, CityFest Houston, and the Houston Loves Prayer Walk where over 3000 people outlined the city’s 610 Loop and prayed for the city.
Pastor Suzette graduated from the University of Houston in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. She has over 14 years of professional experience as an environmental engineer in the public and private sectors. As an entrepreneur, she has owned TC Consulting Group, Inc. an environmental consulting company. In 1997, Pastor Suzette was appointed to the University of Houston Systems Board of Regents by then Governor, George W. Bush. She currently sits on the boards of several other organizations. In addition, she has served as Chair for the Operation Compassion Chaplaincy for Hurricane Katrina Victims. Pastor Suzette has received numerous awards for her professional and community service, including the Distinguished Alumni Award, Distinguished Community Service Award, Philanthropy in Texas Hall of Fame, and the Samaritan Spirit Award. She has been featured in the Houston Chronicle for the Joshua’s Foot prayer walk initiative, Charisma Magazine. She has also made guest appearances on Great Day Houston, The Hour of Power, and Latino Voices on PBS. Her service to the community, as well as the experience she has developed in her professional career makes her uniquely qualified to inspire and equip people to fulfill the will of God for their lives.
